It was OK.
Seemed pretty clean, decor was ok.
Layout could have been a bit easier to navigate but there were staff on reception so they can help if needed.
Toilets were ok.
I think there is a car park at two sides of the centre but I parked in the one towards the Dalton Park side. It was small but the spaces seemed adequately sized.
I'd say as community type venues go, this one was in reasonable condition and cleaner than most.

Recently, we chose The Glebe Centre as the venue for my Dad's wake following his funeral. I cannot express enough gratitude for the level of care and personal touch the staff provided during such a difficult time. They were exceptionally accommodating, ensuring everything was set up precisely as we wished, which greatly contributed to making the day as comforting and respectful as possible.

The Glebe Centre itself is a lovely, large space, ideal for hosting events of this nature. The availability of free WiFi was a helpful addition, allowing guests to connect and share memories online. Furthermore, the stage and projector setup was a poignant feature for us, as it enabled us to display images of my Dad, adding a personal and touching element to the gathering.

In times of loss, finding a venue that understands and respects the significance of the occasion is invaluable. The Glebe Centre and its staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, making a challenging day a little easier to bear. I highly recommend their services for anyone looking to hire a compassionate and versatile space for an event.

Very good as a community centre for training days. The lift is on the small and slow side, but has not let me down yet. A wider range of food and refreshments to cater for all dietary requirements would be something to consider because at present the food they provide is quite limited.

What a wonderful building which unfortunately cannot function efficiently or to its full potential because there seems to be no staff to run it efficiently, there's a fabulous fitted out kitchen which isn't used, when it was always used prior to covid. For whatever reason the powers that be who run it, obviously have no interest in it and are not prepared to invest in it. It grieves me that this place is slowly running into the ground because of this lack of foresight . I've been going up there at least 15 years and haven't seen a centre, so fabulous, being left to fade away. It is supposed to be a community centre first and foremost with of course, some commercial business to assist financially, but when you actually go in and see the skeleton staff and you witness the downturn and lack of interest from the Council, you can't help feel its being slowly but surely shutting down. Shame on the Council for allowing this to happen. You watch, 5 years time there'll be a new housing development there.

The place is very nicely furnished, with a large spacious room. Good for private parties. Enough space for car parking.
