Este parque es un lugar hermoso y limpio, perfecto para una familia. Los campos de fútbol y deportes están muy bien cuidados y hay mucho espacio para jugar. Sin embargo, es importante tener en cuenta que el café no estaba abierto durante nuestra visita. El personal fue muy amable y los perros eran bienvenidos. Es un lugar ideal para disfrutar del aire libre y la naturaleza.

Wow!.........Lovely clean and Tidy Park with adjacent Football/Sports fields.
Plenty for all the family to enjoy.
A cafe which was not open when we visited.
We've just moved from Leeds West Yorkshire about 8 Months ago to enjoy the quiet life and the Sea.
Parking is on street but we found a place so was not an issue.
Super friendly people and their Fur-babies.
Very Dog friendly.
We loved our visit and we will definitely be back.
Thanks for making us feel so welcome what a lovely Community.

Can't review higher than a 1 to 2 stars due to the fact park advertises on google and website that its open till 6.30pm however i arrived just after 4pm to find gates closed and noticed gate keeper locking further gates to park down the road, wasted time traveling to the park and by the time i drove to the next suitable park to walk my dog it was getting dark so only had 10 minutes of light in a football field before it turned pitch black and had to head back to the car. Very dissapointing. Information like opening and closing times should be something they make sure are advertised correctly or that the gate keeper is locking up at the correct time and not 2 hours early 🫤

First class , well looked after , lots of seating and walkways, hard courts for basketball, children's play areas, bandstand, statues, rugby, football and cricket pitches, bowling greens, cafe, toilets and parking. Lots of information plaques on the seating with the history of the park and the colliery , going back in the summer when the borders and baskets are in Bloom.

Well maintained very tidy, with the added attraction of 'Marra' a sculpture by local artist Ray Lonsdale who is based in South Hetton.
