Pilgrim is one of the best classic boats for a fun holiday. She's not only spacious & comfortable she sails well & is beautifully crafted. Richard is an excellent skipper, encouraging, patient, interested in people, & always has a well- trained, keen, young crew.
We had a great time at Falmouth classics regatta despite wet & challenging weather.
A Beautiful weekend.
Thanks Pilgrim, love you all ❤️

Such an amazing experience and a great day that will stay in the memory forever.
In an age where we are often rushing around and the pace of life is a million miles an hour, in a society where we seem to be working less and less together and are more and more focused on ourselves, how lovely it is to slow it all down, work together and take time to meet new people. To learn new things and glimpse a taste of our island heritage and one of the oldest industries out there, fishing, as our ancestors may well have seen it.
Pilgrim, BM45 is a stunning vessel, built and cared for lovingly. It seemed to me that its sole purpose was to capture every single nautical term that could ever be used all in the one place! From halyards and sheets to running out the bowsprit, to heaving, holding, sweating and laughing. All was shipshape and taught in good humour.
The Skipper Bruce and First Mate Emily were brilliant and both were expertly assisted by the crew - John, Richard and Matthew. These five gave generously of their time and were the true making of the day. Helping where needed, instructing when necessary, easy to chat and laugh and providing all aboard with delicious food and coffee and cake.
It is so easy to buy gifts as a materialistic throw away gesture these days but do we really need more stuff?! Give someone the gift of a trip on Pilgrim and they will truly thank you for it. Or, by crikey, treat yourself, you know you're worth it!
I can't wait to go back aboard and hopefully sail further and longer.
Many, many thanks, a very happy sailor

This has to be one of the best days out available in Devon and Cornwall. I went along with my two brothers and my Dad as an 8Oth birthday gift for him. The boat was absolutely awesome and the crew were super friendly and highly professional. I really cannot recommend a trip on Pilgrim enough. Thank you Richard and Crew!
