SCAMMED by brunch! We book and paid for bottomless brunch in advance, even received a reminder email the day before. Arrived with one our party coming down from London only to be left very confused outside in the freezing cold!

We had no communication at all to say it was cancelled or to reschedule. Still have no idea what's going on and tried calling the venue multiple times. We then called the mobile number on the confirmation email and were hung up on immediately.

As far as I can see this is nothing but a scam and still promted on their website. Absolutely disgraceful. Avoid at all costs. Reporting officially as fraudulent.

I went here to see Victor Ray as a part of his UK tour. and travelled from London to see him. The place was a nice intimate venue. Would like to try and come here again and check out the other parts of patterns.

One of the darkest night clubs I have ever been in. Small club with max capacity of 320. Sloooow cloakroom. Door staff ok but no person or bag search. Everything else ok

We made a reservation for brunch and arrived to find all of the gates locked up and no one visibly in the building. Tried calling the main number (no response) and the mobile number supplied with the booking (hung up on me immediately). Left messages and have written emails all of which have been ignored so it seems they are trying to avoid refunding us. Really disappointing that what what I would consider a Brighton institution is trying to pull a scam like this.

Great venue, sound system and vibe. Sick music all night, DJs were all superb. I'd definitely go to another Essence of Chi night or something else if the line up was right.

i like the downstairs music venue, the view is fine if your not near the pillar, there are a few seats for people at the end, more than average mens cubicles BUT £9 for a HOUSE double spirit and £6 bottle of beer makes me not want to go there

My favourite Brighton club. Great sound system and I love the underground club vibe in the basement. Drinks prices are better than usual club prices. Staff including door staff are always friendly.

Had a great night out dancing with friends last week! Unfortunately one of my friends wasn’t feeling too good, fortunately a lovely lady called ruby who worked there was really kind about it and made sure they were okay before ordering a taxi for us! Thanks again patterns! Will be back soon
