Wonderful place and relatively untouched since I was a small child.
Please note that when parking on the small patch near the foot bridge NOT to park where these two particular cars are. It prevents anyone else from being able to turn their their cars around. Not Rocket Science, just selfish.

Pelsall North Common is steeped in history. You have the bridges that cross the canals for a start, that date back to when canals were used to transport goods and barges were horse drawn. If you look at the edges of some of the bridges you can see where the ropes have worn away the brick and iron work. You can walk for miles and see nature and wildlife at every turn, simply following different legs of the canal will take you on fantastic walks through varying parts of the local area.

Lovely place to walk the dog and look out for wildlife along the canal. We went while the water festival was on and there were lots of visiting canal boats.

What an absolute gem of a place 😍 with miles of beautiful canalside walks to enjoy right on the fringes of Walsall, Bloxwich and cannock.
The day I was there it was minus degrees but still the swans and ducks was out for a paddle so with the nearby fingerpost pub on hand my day was sorted 👏đŸģ

Maybe I'm biased because this is my local area and I've seen it in sun, rain, snow and at all times of day. The peace of the common, local canals, hints of past industry, birds, deer and much more combine to make this a lovely place to walk. If it's wet then don't forget your wellies!
