I honestly cannot thank Freya enough for creating a no nonsense, easy to understand and engaging course! As first time parents we were unsure of what to expect but figured education was absolutely something we needed and I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone entering the parenting world. I feel so prepared, comfortable and excited with life ahead, plus you get to meet others. It is so lovely to chat away to other new parents & ask questions to them and Freya. Highly recommend Freya’s antenatal classes. We attended during September and October 2023. She is extremely knowledgeable, answers any questions or concerns with pure confidence which makes you feel at ease. The classes are very relaxed and you leave feeling more reassured, especially if you’re a first time parent.

One of the best decisions during pregnancy was booking antenatal classes with Freya, it helped us build a strong foundation going into parenthood and was very informative- knowledge is power! I went to expecting cannock when I was pregnant with my son Henry and it was the best thing I could’ve done. Not only did the class provide you with all the necessary knowledge, broken down into manageable chunks so you don’t get overwhelmed- it also provides you with the most incredible support and contacts. Being a mom is scary and this class allows you to connect with other moms in the exact same position as you. Henry is now 10 months old and I’m so grateful that two of my mom friends, who have become friends for life I have no doubt, I met through this class. We now meet twice a week and for that I will always be grateful for these classes.

Last but not least is Freya, she is the most incredible support throughout pregnancy and was on hand for any questions throughout. When Henry was born, we did have some difficulties, and Freya was on hand again to calm me down and to assure me everything was okay, voice messaging me in hospital. To have a midwife on your side arms you with confidence when you are going through something so life changing.

I cannot recommend these classes enough. If there is one thing I could say to all expectant mothers, it would be take this class. Everything else slots into place, but to have this level of support is something money can’t buy. Thank you so much Freya x

My wife and I attended expecting classes in advance of having our first child. I couldn't recommend the experience enough as a first time dad to be.

I have been trying to read books, watch YouTube videos and found the whole thing quite overwhelming until we attended these classes. Freya runs the classes in person and answers any and all questions you may have, it's an opportunity to meet other first time parents and just generally feel like you're not on your own.

Thank you to Freya for running such a great class, the practical advice and peace of mind is exactly what we wanted. And we made some new friends as a bonus!

We attending Freya’s antenatal classes after beginning with the hypno birthing course. The environment Freya creates is so welcoming, we looked forward to every session with her. We finished the course feeling very knowledgeable and as prepared as we could be for our first baby, Freya is incredibly knowledgeable and helped with all our questions. My partner and myself booked onto these classes in Cannock as first time parents having found prior that trying to work everything out was a mine field leaving us with no idea where to start.

Right from the beginning Freya made everyone feel welcome and provided an amazingly relaxed atmosphere to not only learn but ask questions. After attending these classes we have left feeling far more prepared and less out of our depth about the stages of labour, pain relief options available and feeding/caring for our first child upon their arrival plus as an added bonus made some new friends along the way allowing us to be in contact with others in the same position as us.

I would highly recommend to anyone who is expecting a baby to consider the antenatal classes with Expecting. You will honestly not regret the decision to attend!

As a serial scroller and web searcher, I quickly realised that doing that while pregnant and looking for information online from a variety of resources is not necessarily the best thing to do. I knew that antenatal classes would be beneficial for my own peace of mind but the Expecting Classes with Freya gave me so much more. Freya has a wealth of experience and delivers information in such an engaging and calm way. I really felt like I was in safe hands and that will only continue with the community and support that will carry on even though our the classes have now finished. If your pregnancy journey is feeling overwhelming, I would highly recommend booking on to the classes.
