Absolutely shocking service to tne users and no aftercare by any means, if you're quiet, mild and meek whilst suffering from mental health issues, they soon dismiss you as their problem fully I would imagine in the knowledge that because you have been an inpatient that the GP can no longer prescribe, I'll not go into the details of my ahort stay as fallowing up by other means, but please friends and families who are admitted here, please keep and extra eye and check in on your loved ones... Amanda.amd Tari were amazing, others should take a leaf out of their book!!!

My father was admitted to the Baswich ward and spent close to 8 months there. He has Alzheimer’s and is in the later stages. In all that time he was treated with dignity and respect and the staff showed nothing but compassion for dad and us as a family. Dad was shown a lot of warmth and love by a very dedicated staff team, who all have extensive knowledge of this disabling condition. All of the staff are amazing, but I really would like to say a massive thank you to Jackie, Lisa, Wendy, Dave and Tom. I know there are many more but you were all particularly patient and tactful, when dealing with dad and sometimes our enquiries. I would also like to thank Natalie, who has been fair and considerate throughout the whole process. Even though dad was sectioned, Natalie listened to our concerns and would fairly weigh up what was in dad’s best interests. Dad has moved on today to a nursing home, which for us as a family was hard to let go of, but we can only hope that he receives the same level of care. To all of the Baswich staff you are amazing. We will always hold very fond memories of you all. Keep doing the remarkable work that you do xxx

Complete waste of time.
No-one ever rings you back even after numerous requests to do so.
Some staff seem to have a very unhealthy attitude towards patients bordering on criminal negligence.
Sadly, from my experience the senior management don't give a stuff about the patients. I can see how the CEO of the Post Office was welcomed into the NHS management.
