Wonderful and very warm welcome stay at this local Islamic Center and community hub. They are so accommodating and thoughtful of others. I was at peace all throughout my stay & also made some really good friends.

Really recommend to visit and engage with this wonderful close knit community. You will be left with a really satisfied feeling that they are very compatible with the local environment. You get a sense of spiritual uplifting the more you visit with an open mind and inquisitive mentality.

Alhamdulillah the Cornwall Islamic Community Centre came up on route to Cornwall. Its located in a remote Town of Truro. We prayed our Jummah in big congression, lovely khutbah and recitation by the Imam. The mosque has women facilities and ample space of parking. Brothers at the mosque very welcoming.

As a British-born Muslim traveller who loves visiting mosques around the world (I've been to over 85+ countries), during my visit to Cornwall, we stopped by at this beautiful ex-chapel, which now serves as a mosque.

This mosque is situated within the walls of an old, beautiful chapel or church. The church was abandoned and derelict before being purchased and renovated as a mosque, while retaining the outer appearance of the original church. It provides facilities for women's prayer areas, a men's prayer area, wash facilities, a community centre, and offers many services for the local community.

It was just before Maghrib time, and unfortunately, we realised the doors were locked as the mosque does not operate for all five daily prayers. I prayed outside the mosque but was very happy to see this neglected building now being utilised.

I'm not a Muslim but being local have visited a few times over several years, on special open days for visitors and also been here for regular Friday/Jummah prayers. I've always been made to feel very welcome. It's among very few Islamic spaces in Cornwall (there's also a small Islamic prayer room in the University in nearby Penryn) so it serves a broad spectrum of Muslim people and different cultures and ethnicity. That's what I like most about it. I was welcomed as a brother, and I could see that all brothers and sisters were similarly welcome. The former chapel has been lovingly and sensitively restored and looks great in this rural area. I'm grateful to those who made this happen and glad my Muslim friends and neighbours have a space of their own here in Cornwall to express their faith.

Lovely little community masjid. We were visiting Cornwall and was glad to find this place for Jumu’ah salah.
