Not only are the people running this charity top notch as individuals but they are also great at running a non profit and maximizing the effectiveness of their ability to help support others. I encourage anyone thinking about supporting a non profit to read the backstory on this one and see how much they have been able to achieve since their founding. Absolutely heartwarming how much this organization cares about the people of Kenya and is working to give them a diverse range of skills to see as many souls as possible to a happy, healthy, fruitful future. Happy to be a part of something so beautiful.

Boo Charity are truly committed to giving young people in Kenya opportunities to escape from poverty. Their projects are changing people's lives and making a real difference in communities. They're a small, grassroots charity and everyone is a volunteer, so that all donations go to the children who need their support. If you're looking for a way to make a difference in this world, get in touch with Boo!

Boo Charity is an incredible charity. It's driven by a superbly passionate team of volunteers who all have one goal to change young lives in Africa Kenya & give these beautiful humans 'opportunity not charity'. So many lives have been turned around with various projects set up in Kibera Slums and many other locations across Kenya. They support foundation age children with Education, Feeding programmes, uniforms, Emotional support & a safe loving environment ! A football school is also run inside Kibera to provide young boys & girls a social setting to be safe & also supported in many other aspects by the Boo team. Older Boys & girls who are lucky enough to have the support of Boo are provided with vocational training i.e. Welding , IT Skills , Car Mechanics , Hair Dressing & Beauty , Dressmaking & Agriculture. These students graduate to start up there own businesses thus becoming self sufficient and able to support their families & having a massive positive impact on the wider community !!! All of this amazing life changing work is achieved with 100% Zero Admin ... An Awesome , Magical , Charity run by Incredible volunteers.

I have seen at first hand the fantastic work the Boo Charity does. Sending 100% of all donated funds to the children that need it in Kenya. So many young people have been given an opportunity by Boo where they otherwise would have had very little hope!

This is one of the most inspirational charities I have ever come across, it gives, not just immediate support, but a real chance of a meaningful future to children from an extremely poor community. On top of this every penny raised goes where it is needed not into an administrator's pocket. My ambition is to one day go to Kenya and help out in any way possible.

I went to Kenya as a volunteer with boo charity, there passion for people and to help others is the most incredible charity to be apart off. Every penny goes to the people of Kenya, some families wouldn’t be eating if it wasn’t for boo. I’ve seen the appreciation first hand and it’s amazing.

This amazing charity, run by tireless dedicated volunteers enabling incredible results for ZERO admin - also throw the best party via their fund raising annual BOO Ball - every year if you attend you wonder how they will top it next, they do, with the perfect mix of informing people about the massive changes being delivered, the amazing opportunities being offered and wholeheartedly taken up by amazing Kenyan children and young people - at the same time as entertaining, deliciously feeding and ensuring everyone leaves lifted.
I sadly never meet Sarah (Boo) but have met the scores of people who did and have been inspired to take the tiny seed of her idea into this exceptional Charity that changes lives through giving opportunity. I've attended every "Ball" from the first back garden with Gazebo & hay bails to sit on through many years to last years 15th anniversary mind blowing Circus Extravaganza - can't wait for next one this year (19th Sept) but am wise enough now to know to plan nothing for the next day!!!

Amazing volunteer support enables Boo to be a Zero admin charity which results in every penny raised getting to where it’s needed the most.
Fabulous fundraising events are not to be missed!
