The Sanctuary is an invaluable service and the people that work there are truly incredible. They really care, listen, offer support and advice for those in a crisis or needing somebody to talk too. I used their day time, evening and proactive calls during a difficult time in my life and I really can't thank them enough for taking the time, patience and care to be there for me.

A special mention to those who I spoke with daily:

Janette: Always supportive and up-lifting. She makes you feel validated and normal, talking about things other than mental health as well which makes you feel like she really treats you like a person.

Glen: Always listens and is reactive with what he says. His stories and anecdotes are spot on and you can tell he is experienced because he adds such a personal touch to everything.

Nicky: Has such a calming and kind nature. She takes a special interest in what you say and will remember it for next time. It makes you feel like she really cares because she listened. (P.s. I hope the crocheting is going well still!)

A quality service given by professional people. It's situated a bit off the beaten track, tucked away in a corner but is signed. I would track the place before driving out to find. Very friendly and professional service.
