Kathryn Alevizos and I had the pleasure of speaking (on behalf of our company, Acrobat Global) at four events as part of the AfPP’s annual roadshow last year. The choice of venues was impressive, and the organisers provided a welcoming atmosphere for speakers and delegates. The choice of speakers was well thought-out, each bringing valuable insights that provided lots of interesting discussions during the breaks. We were really impressed by the engaged audience, whose enthusiasm and participation made the day very special. We would like to thank the AfPP for their meticulous planning and commitment to supporting perioperative professionals and for allowing us to provide our talk on how to improve communication in multicultural teams. It was a privilege to be part of such a well-planned and enjoyable event.

Professional and caring group of people. Passionate about our NHS and serving our communities. Enthusiastic about Nurses, Operating Department Practitioners and the wider Health Care team to enhance our practice and career development.

Friendly and welcoming and above all else they dedicate their time to this cause every day. To be a small part of this is just amazing, and reminds us of the very reason we do all of this is for our patients.

What a greater purpose to serve others than to be served.!

Thank-you

I feel really grateful for coming to the 1st Regional Afpp conference. It means a lot as a practitioner to come and be part of consistent learning and realising our own potential in making our practice even better , more sustainable and most importantly understanding psychological safety as individuals and when going through our own storms in work. I felt really happy with the whole service provided. Well done everyone 🙂

I recently attended my first AfPP event, the regional conference held on the 1st of March, 25 at the MMU Business School in Manchester. The event was impeccably organised, with accommodating and friendly staff. Each session was tailored specifically to perioperative nursing, offering a deep dive into the latest practices and technologies in the field. The speakers were well-prepared and engaging, providing valuable insights that have significantly expanded my knowledge and skills. This experience has enhanced my professional capabilities and equipped me with the tools and strategies applicable to my role. I highly recommend this conference to any perioperative professional seeking to elevate their expertise and effectiveness in healthcare.
