Really nice original pub, Great for a home-made roast dinner, also does a fantastic breakfast from 9am until 11am. Dogs are also welcome in this pub, real ales served too, Highly recommend this pub for all the family.

Sorry to say, the take away roast lunch we ordered came freezing cold & very expensive. Advertising at £7.50 & we got charged £17 for 2. (One being a child’s portion) very disappointed. We have visited and dined in on a Sunday and it’s been lovely. Won’t be ordering take away again.

Real spit and sawdust vibe. Feel like it's a missed opportunity to be a lovely venue with outdoor space.. but maybe they don't want to attract tourists. Food on Sunday only

Lovely traditional pub, owners and staff extreamly friendly and welcoming. My partner was highly impressed with the decor! Kindly accommodated our camper van over night in their carpark. We met with friends who live locally great evening had by all. Many thanks Richard and Sara

It's a nice pub, very friendly and cheap there to. Only is problem is some of the regular customers and one staff member is abit unpleasant, they fail to bar people of they have done something wrong.and staff tend to take sides with the person in question. So basically if someone does something wrong to you and you are a new customer the bar staff tend to pick sides with the person who actually done something wrong instead of your side.

But on the other hand it only happens every now and then that something happens so. In other words it's a great pub but it is ruff round the edges and needs improvement in some places.

An excellent back street local with everything that a good pub should be. Great selection of REAL CIDERS and ales plus good simple food. I received a friendly reception from the Landlord, staff and locals. Fantastic.
