Nice ground and nice staff but those kids behind the goal trying to pick fights with away supporters is laughable. Also you can't stand behind one of the goals coz it's a no standing area!
Also didn't appreciate the same kids throwing stones at our team coach and trying to get into the coach to ransack the place at the end of the game.
I know this isn't a fair reflection on the club as a whole but those kids need sorting out. ALL the other adult fans were lovely ! Good people ❤️

We hired The Saffrons club house for our wedding recently. John, Neil and the rest of the team were very accommodating and the space was perfect for a party. The bar is stocked with a good selection of booze all reasonably priced and we wouldn’t hesitate to hire the club house again in the future!

Great place to watch high class amateur cricket on a summer's sunny afternoon. Plenty of fresh air and great venue for evening fireworks displays. Also features a top class toddlers nursery class

Friendly staff, good range of drinks. Nice atmosphere. You can hire the venue for free in return for a paying bar. Toilets were not the best.

Had a party booked here over the weekend for 80+ people. It was shambolic: 'running' out of alcohol, wouldn't let us turn the lights off or have the music any louder than a whisper, drink prices going up every time you return to the bar. Not what you expect when paying nearly £500 for the evening. Rachel, the 'manager' on duty was rude and clearly had a problem, she really and truly ruined the night for everyone. She clearly had a bee in her bonnet way before any of us even got there for the party, seeing as she was kicking people out of watching the football at this venue a few hours prior to the party. She said she had worked a 12 hour shift etc etc, needed to shut BEFORE the time the venue had been booked out for, it was evident she just wanted to get home and had no interest in doing what she and the venue is paid to do. Really disappointing. Don't work in hospitality if you want to go home by 11:30, don't want loud music and don't want the lights off. Or equally, don't advertise, book and agree to such an event.

The Saffrons is a venue I would (and have, many many times) recommend over any other venue in Eastbourne, but after this I would never. Rachel really let the team down, everyone there could vouch for that also.
