I was pleased with the treatment I got at this hospital. They got me better to be able to return to America. Ella, Boris and Ana were great and the other staff I don’t remember their names.

I've lost a friend to suicide here... one that keeps trying to kill her self and also my friend friend killed him self when he was release and had to go to a hotel after...
They do not look at a person as a full person ....it needs to be completely gone or new staff or at least make it less disgusting...
110% do not recommend

The staff are caring but there is not enough.
The food well let's not get into that.
Free tv but you can never watch what you want.
Patients being obnoxious and rude to each other.
Discussion of suicide and attempts of suicide like its a competition.
Shared toilets that do not flush and are always filthy.
No privacy as bays of 4 people with only hospital curtains to separate us.
Too clinical interms of the looks.
Barely any therapeutic input. PRN given out like sweets.
Not doing thorough checks on arrival.
Causes more trauma than you already have.
Seeing patients be admistered drugs forcefully without privacy screens.
No thorough observations of patients even after severe incidents.
Putting unwell patients together especially females isunethical to say the least.
Overall would not recommend 0/10
Only good part is hot chocolate at night before we go beddy bies.

The nurses and doctors forced my mother-in-law to take anti-psychotic medicines without diagnosing that she is actually psychotic, and said that if she refused to take them she would be kicked out. They have also banned any family members from contacting them because we were in doubts of what they were doing to my mother-in-law. Everyone on the phone was always extremely rude before we were banned to speak to them, and afterwards they would just hang up on us and refuse to speak to us.
No one in the mental health department knows anything about side effects of the medicines they give out, and when we told them the side effects of the medicines which we read on NHS website, they told us that it's not true and they have never heard anything like that.

I have had the pleasure of visiting this department for 3 weeks and am grateful that I am still alive. Having been through a traumatic event the staff were very helpful and the food was good enough. Thanks for the ability to sleep and the free TV service.

Worst hospital I have ever had the displeasure of visiting, staff extremely rude, don't have the knowledge of any specialist treatments like diabetes care. Made me want to curl up in a ball and I wasn't even the bloody patient
