I was initially directed to disability support via my universal credit work coach some time ago.
I have since used their services on multiple occasions.
Today, I met with Zara, who was absolutely fantastic in helping me where it was needed, and also made me feel so comfortable and at ease throughout my appointment.
I have a magnitude of existing health conditions, which usually make face to face appointments and consults difficult. Before my appointment today, I suffered a significant anxiety attack, leading me to feel worried about the situation overall. I needn't have worried, though. Zara was amazingly understanding and patient with me throughout our appointment and made me feel exceptionally comfortable. Cannot recommend this service, or it's staff, highly enough.

Waste of time enquiring with this service much simple to go to huck a duck in a fairground instead i myself and my social worker also made a referral to this service on my behalf due to me being dyslexic and not being able to understand application forms and general paperwork without assistance and my social worker expressed they cannot provide me this support themselves and said they can only signpost me to organisations for this assistance we have both been trying throughout the whole time to find an organisation that would be able to assist me disability direct has let me down they failed me as i was rejected from eligibility and remit after they reached out through email just once to ask me to call them to arrange an appointment i told them in my reply i have no credit for my phone and have no access to a telephone then they ignored my email this charity being underfunded does not surprise me with this ignorance these people will rather talk to robots than offer support to disadvantaged people do not waste your time with them good job they are not one of the charities that i donate to.

Joseph is excellent, I can't praise him enough for the help he gave me at a very stressful time after waiting for a year pip finally granted which couldn't have happened without his help and all the staff at Basford are very professional and helpful. Many thanks to the lot of them for all their help.

Sue was fantastic, really knowledgeable. Wouldn't have been able to do it without her. Sue supported us and did all the necessary formalities regarding paperwork and lodging our claim at Tribunal, hence our successful Appeal! Thank you so much Sue.

See second time in 4 years where I required the support with PIP and DWP in general. Both times went to tribunal and both times I had the decision overturned in my favour thanks to Sue Lynn at Disability Support. So knowledgeable and was related to my plight.
I breathed a sigh of relief to be listened to with a true understanding of the physical and mentally disabling - chronic / at times life threatening setbacks I have since my early twenties to where I am now 46.
Huge difference to my life and I am disgusted that I discovered today , they were not able to have the lights on because the charity is broke and are trying to save money.
If there is a philanthropist out there please help them ? I have and will continue to with my humble means .
Thank you again for your help. You are fantastic
