Even though parts have sunken or fallen, we could still see where all the rooms were as there were information signs that gave us a view on how they predicted it would have looked like.
I would suggest coming on a sunny day as most of the floor is grass but overall it was great!!

This place is a hidden gem. Absolutely stunning. It has been well preserved and well maintained too. Great place to visit for all ages if you just want to enjoy the surroundings, sit and read here on a sunny day, taking photographs or just relaxing in the grounds.
You get a sense of what the place would have looked like back in the 12th century. It must have been strategically built next to the brook and River.
This place is a gem and fairly quiet. Would definitely recommend a visit. I’m sure I’ll go there again. Give yourself at least an hour or two to take in this historical site.
Free parking but limited. Free unrestricted parking in area but respect locals! The priory shuts early so please take note of the opening times.

English Heritage administered site, free entry. Being honest there is not a lot to see but it is nice. They do hold some events there.

Lovely ancient priory dating as early as the 12th century. Free entry, easily accessible free parking. Mainly, a grass field there is a few steps but not necessary to climb steps to access most of the areas. Some uncovered, ancient drainage system requires some caution but otherwise a pleasant walk around.

Hidden gem! Been several times but unfortunately it was closed to the public when I took these photos because there had been strong winds and tree branches needed clearing from the site.

There's so much of this amazing place to see, beautiful place very peaceful and interesting. Shame it closes 2 hours before the Monks pub opens across the road

This is an English Heritage site but open to the public for free. There is also a small amount of parking at the site or a larger free car park off Abbey Lane. We spent about half an hour here exploring the ruins and reading the boards. There are no toilets or cafes here to be aware.
