A truly exceptional little museum obviously restored and staffed by very knowledgeable and friendly people with a passion to keep local history alive. We had a very interesting hour talking to and watching the men who keep this place open. Wrong opening times on Google. Took my visitors there only to find out that it is closed on Mondays. Otherwise we would have chosen another day.

The museum was open today so we called in as a family. Truly fascinating and brought back many of my childhood memories taking the accumulator down to the shop to be charged. Staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It may be small but is packed full of interest.

It is really interesting and a great experience. All of the volunteers are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. You can also have a go at blacksmithing or do a 3d printing in the innovation area. Well worth a visit.
