My husband Adrian is in Addenbrookes Hospital and we didn’t know he would be in over Christmas and what a lovely surprise for him to wake up and find a present for him. All thanks to Act the Addenbrookes Charitable Trust…all the patients had a gift and this thought means such a lot and even more so to those totally on their own. So a huge thank you to all involved for putting a smile on their faces today.

I gave a one time small donation at the beginning of the year and have been hounded ever since for more money. Today I got *2* begging letters. I only have a pension, not millions like this trust. The result of the presumption that they can keep tapping me for money, is that this tap gets turned off. I give to charity as often as I can but any which then aggressively pursues me asking greedily for more, gets struck off my list. They won't get one more penny out of me. Less greed, more gratitude is how charities should work.

Absolutely top respect for all of the staff at this wonderful hospital that helped me beat cancer, I'm going to repay them a little with a cheque from a golf charity day......

If I were to donate to any charity it would be this one because it’s money well spent and every penny goes towards helping people out that deserve it.
