Lovely beautiful animal sanctuary. Perfect place with young kids, they had a "family fun" with some bouncy castles and rides when we went over the bank holiday weekend.

The cafe only serves vegan food and has limited options. I would recommend bringing your own food, lots of places for a nice picnic.

Animals were lovely and looked happy - lots of open spaces.

We’ve visited 3 times this year and have really enjoyed every visit. The animals are looked after very well. It’s easy to walk around and lots of information available about the animals. The cafe onsite is all vegan and amazing! There’s a cute little gift shop too. Highly recommend visiting. Can really make a day out of it!

Visited Hopefield Sanctuary on Bank Holiday Monday, we enjoyed our day out, my children range from 5-7years and they had a great time. Animals are well kept, we got to enjoy the rides as it was a family fun weekend day, I saw there was food available but we did take a little picnic which my children enjoyed on the benches. They keep asking when we will be going back. So I recommend this as a great day out if your children loves the outdoors and animals. Also has parking!! Extras they have there are arts and crafts with painting and making sand items my kids were sold when they saw this!!!!

What a lovely hidden gem this place is and what great work they do for the lovely animals. I spotted the large sign on the A12 and looked them up online, My wife and I took our 13 year old daughter and one of our granddaughters (3yo) who are both horse mad. We purchased online a family ticket that was very reasonable and also gave you a return visit for free. They have lots of animals to see, and loads that you can stroke, there are lots of washing stations and clean toilets onsite. There is a large picnic area, they have a playground with swings etc, but also two bouncy castles and a wonderful double decker bus that's been converted into a soft play area. There is a cafe onsite that serves hot/cold food and drinks that are all vegan friendly. We all had a lovely day out and I would recommend a visit here for anyone from couples to people with young families.

Had a lovely afternoon with my little girl walking round the sanctuary. For the Halloween event. She absolutely loved seeing all the animals and you can see how looked after they are! Had an amazing pumpkin spiced oat latte in the cafe maybe the best iver ever had and lovely food that came out fast!
Just wish I got to try some of the cakes! My little one got very muddy definitely take wellies! We will definitely come back.

We visited on the 5th of October for the Exotic Animal Weekend (LAST OF 2024!) - 5th & 6th October.

You could also do with better signage as it was difficult to find.

The parking was not very clear and really a parking attendant would of been appropriate as it was very very busy.

On the entrance of the shop area the lady looked at my QR code and didn’t scan or really check it?
We were handed a pile of flyers and a map.
I asked if it’s self explanatory hoping for a helpful reply and a friendly smile?
Again she said there’s the map!

The trail was not very clear and not much fun and could of been enjoyable if a tick list or something to say you’ve seen all the animals.

The BBQ was not clearly signed and no prices of food or were burgers etc included in the price?

We did have a good time and the Foxes, Skunks, Pigs and the wolf whistling Parrot were all brilliant.

Such a shame for potentially a wonderful place.

31/10/24 We came for Halloween, it was very good. Our Grandson had a great time. The staff dressed as Halloween characters.
