Adopted my fluffy little best friend from RSPCA Brighton last year. They do such a good job at making sure the animals in their care are well looked after, and the animals are always put first. Everyone I met or spoke to there was so lovely and I'm so grateful for them for looking after my kitty for the time that they did and for introducing us!

Best £90 I ever spent. Got a 1 year old cuddle bug 3 years ago now, rescued from a multi cat household. She was quite nervous when we got her home, but lots of helpful advice from the Cat Man in the cattery meant we knew to give her time, keep her inside, feed her her favourite food and be patient. She was underweight from her previous owner when we got her, but fattened right up. Loves her cat flap to the garden, and follows us from room to room wanting to be near us all the time. Couldn’t imagine life without her.

Thanks to the RSPCA for all the work you do, protecting and saving animals and applying caution to potential adopters. Reading the negative comments here makes me wonder if people forget that not everyone in the world is suitable to be a pet owner, so I am glad that the RSPCA takes care to match animals to the people they need. Pets come first, people second!

Great branch. We adopted a couple of guinea pigs beginning of December. The staff obviously knew the animals in their care well, and relayed as much history of the pair as they knew. Great communication throughout the adoption process. Thanks for making it an easy and successful process! NB: to the staff - Ethel and Bernard have bonded well with our guinea, and settled in quickly.

Anyone who looks after animals I respect. The staff are friendly, welcoming and happy to talk to you. We took in 3 lop-eared rabbits over a period of 8 years from here. Unfortunately it is so difficult with their requirements to take on animals from here now I fear the RSPCA will simply put down more animals than can be given homes due to the restrictions. I have 500sq foot back garden, fenced, shed, a run but not able to home any more rabbits 🙁 Steps straight from the car park - reptile area is ok but anything else, no access with a wheelchair. Free parking. Could get busy at weekends as car park is communal - football pitch / playing fields next door

We wanted to give a reptile a new home. We had the wrong set up and willing to change everything accordingly, however, we were patronised and humiliated in front of other customers in the shop as the staff member grabbed my phone and told me in a very rude way that the set up we had purchased was worthless. That’s all fine and I have scrapped it but the way I was treated made me spend my money elsewhere and decide not to rehome. I highly recommend Hastings reptile centre where the advice was incredible and we were treated with respect. I feel that demonstrating knowledge and wanting to feel superior comes higher on the agenda for the RSPCA than actually recognising a caring potential rehomer. My daughter cried when we left, I wished I hadn’t of tried to do a good deed. Thanks for that awful experience.

Got my cats from here and they're super helpful and do lots of good work. They were neutered and vaccinated. Also used their cattery. Always good staff and a lovely place to visit just to say hi to the Cats and Dogs.

I found a tortoise on the road, asked the occupants if houses nearby couldn't locate the owner. As we couldn't look after the animal I contacted the RSPCA. They kindly took him in until the owner came forward to claim him.
Had a brief chat and learnt a lot about tortoises. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, clearly passionate about reptiles.
Thank you for your help looking after the old boy.
