Buddhist center with a pagoda and a small bodhi tree. Have Sri Lankan monks visiting with large and quiet meditative gardens, including meditation huts. Well worth the visit for some quiet peaceful times. They do many courses for mindfulness as well.

When I was a child abt 6-7 yr oldmy mum took me & my older brother to Amarawathy summer camp in summer school hols along with some of her Welsh Buddhist friends & their children from Aberystwyth where we never had a temple or any SL people at that time. I still have Rainbow Ch. Mags & vivid memories cos that's where I learned how to sit cross leg & keep still . But after that tilI I came to Basildon Asapuwa about 5yrs ago from Mcr there is no other place to go for residential group meditation for 5 D.
I enjoyed the facilities , the chanting, Dhamma talks & meditation sessions reflections etc. If it happens again I very much like to attend. Hope this is usefull. Thnx Chinthake Mallawarachi
