Fantastic communication, we had to cancel our appointment on the day due to being called into work unexpectedly, absolutely no issue with this company to rebook, the receptionist was mega friendly and our technician was very understanding. Repair booked for the next day, he turned up on time, talked through what he was testing and doing. Took care with the area around the repair making sure to leave tidy etc. Couldn't ask for more. Credit where credits due, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Booked by appliance insurance and I have never encountered such incompetence and non caring attitude. The same engineer visited my home on four separate occasions, three of which only lasted approximately 15 minutes, to repair a fault with my washing machine. Three weeks and three visits later he eventually decided it needed a new water pump. Water pump fitted on fourth visit, however, after he had left and I tried to use machine, it would not work at all. In addission, the company are very difficult to get in contact with. It has been necessary for me to contact my insurer who are now arranging for another company to repair my machine. One star is far too good for this company

Domestic & General have always sent these guys out to us for various appliances over the years and they do a great job. Almost every visit has resulted in a fix that day.

They also try hard to give us an earlier appointment than the automated system has allowed when we have an urgent issue like no washing machine and a mountain of dirty baby clothes!

JB Domestics came out to repair our old machine on behalf of Domestic and General the parts were no longer available so our machine was replaced by Hughes but they failed to install our new machine or take away our old one like we paid. Luckily we were able to rely on JB Domestics who were fantastic Ian was very helpful and went above and beyond. We have no objections in using JB Domestics in the future brilliant !

Booked in via appliance cover. Would give 0 stars if I could. Engineer visited and after what felt like he needed to be persuaded to actually look at the back of the fridge because it’s inbuilt and said it’ll take a while to remove to pull out. Given I wasn’t satisfied with it’s just a regulation issue and insisted it be done, I was then told after further inspection that the fridge compressor was faulty and would need replacing. Advised this would be done within a week once approved by insurer as the parts were in stock. 15 days later I’ve had no update from JB and fridge is still not repaired. After complaining to insurer they later advised the parts are not due till end of July. After being told previously by JB it was in stock and had been ordered. Avoid at all costs even if via insurance, ask for alternatives otherwise you’ll be waiting forever for something which another company could have sorted in a few days. Don’t understand why they can’t just be honest about delays so people can make informed decisions. Terrible customer service.

Great service, arrived on time, value for money. Polite and personable customer service over the phone, the guy that fit the new oven was very helpful, even offered to sweep up the mess made from installing oven which is very rare and much appreciated!
I had a hard time finding a reliable company, very pleased with JB Domestics Essex LTD, highly recommend!

Engineer came out to fix our cooker, the parts were not usual, but he returned today with a new part, fixings and a friendly and great attitude.
