Northlands Park is a hidden gem in Basildon!

The park is beautifully maintained with plenty of open green spaces, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing walk or a family picnic.

The large lake is a highlight, attracting a variety of wildlife, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. There’s also a great playground for kids, which my little ones absolutely loved.

The park feels safe and welcoming, and there's ample parking nearby. Whether you're looking for a quiet escape in nature or a place to let the kids run around, Northlands Park has something for everyone.

Huge open green field combined with twin lakes make this park an ideal place for nature lovers to hang around in a sunny afternoon. Free parking, plenty of space. Kids playgrounds has got lots of rides, along with a basketball court and skating area. Circular pathway around the lake for jogging, cycling etc with lots of benches for sitting. Few fountains added beauty to the lakes. There are plenty of fishing spots around the lakes. There’s a cafe inside the park as well. Complete package 😁.

Lovley clean park with loads to offer. Kids are never bored here. Lovley skating and play area plenty of benches around lake.

Does have a lovely lake used to be used for fishing but has been taped off due to uneven surfaces. This has a small cafe, lots of benches to sit on and around the park. Great for kids, has playing area, great for dog walking and just having a stroll.

We enjoyed our visit to this park, its not massive but it was nice for a wonder round and to see the ducks and birds on the lake. The car park is free, there is a playground and a cafe. There are some paths as you go round, some of these get muddy...!

Great recreational area, really beautiful. Plenty to do including two play areas, skate board ramps and a basketball court. Fishing free on the lakes and platforms around lakes for ease of use. We'll surfaced around main path but also lots of off tarmac areas. Great little cafe that takes card. Free parking. Ideal for children and families

Great area for walking dogs. Could do with being a little tidier and having a few more waste bins. Park area is great for kids and café is nice to have near by.

It's a beautiful park, with a play area, a cafe, toilets, and beautiful scenery, with lots of lovely paths to take. The only downside is that it has busy roads all around. But it's a wonderful park that with good access, meaning you don't need to cross any roads to get to it.
