Excellent facility just behind Derriford hospital, we had a futsal match against Argyle in the sports hall which was well equipped and maintained.
There is a small swimming pool, fully fitted gym and fitness centre, climbing wall amongst others on site as well as a Costa coffee. Reception was friendly and helpful and toilets facilities aplenty

My girls play hockey at Marjons, now Plymouth Lions. The coaches are amazing; encouraging and welcoming and it's a great venue.

Me and my husband have had a family gym and swim membership here for just over a month. We swapped from PureGym and I am so glad we did. The facilities are much nicer. No intimidating gym bros taking over all the free weights or loud club music blaring.

The gym is compact but has a great, varied range of equipment. It's never massively busy and other gym users are always respectful.

It's also great having access to the pool (hour slots, booking required) as we can bring the kids swimming once or twice a week.

Overall I enjoyed my time at marjons gym and uni. Overall a good gym with friendly staff and a good pool. The downsides are the pool is not very usable. You have to book. The cafe is nice if you catch it at the right time and food is OK.

Could do with a bit of a refurbishment in certain areas but I get its a uni gym.

Take my kids swimming here. The facilities are really good and it's always fully of life. Wish they were a little more relaxed on the parking as I have to park really far away when I bring my kids swimming.

Updated 2024: I've moved from puregym to the gym here and have a family membership so I can take my children swimming. I'm really happy with the gym here, it's always kept clean and the members are encouraged to clean the equipment afterwards. The equipment is better than it is at PureGym and it's very well laid out. The swimming facilities have always been really good and the staff have always been really friendly and helpful. I'm here all the time now and can't fault it. Highly recommended.
