We had the most wonderful Christmassy weekend at The Cottage, hosted by the super professional and kind Chris and Clare. ||Each morning they provided us with an excellent vegan cooked breakfast with plenty of oat milk for cereal, and freshly brewed coffee (Miles) that is s actually ground and roasted in the village itself. ||We slept amazingly well in the comfortable bed and The Cottage was always warm and inviting. A real home from home that we'll definitely come back to again and again.||Thank you so much Chris and Clare. See you again soon.

We received a warm welcome from Chris. The room was well furnished, clean, and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfy, so a great night's sleep was had. Breakfast the next day was fantastically cooked by Claire. ||I'd recommend The Cottage if you're visiting the area.

Central to the heart of the village, with a very warm reception from the hosts, Chris and Clare, made for a perfect weekend. Absolutely everything is provided and the breakfast of local ingredients was sublime. Perfect spot to explore the village Winter Festival

The cottage was very good value for money Chris and Clare made us feel welcome. An ideal location for a two night stay for hikers.the room and the bed was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was of a good standard.| On a constructive criticism note or three. some croissants would be a nice addition at breakfast and a larger breakfast slot other then just 8am-9pm the toilet in the twin room at front of the cottage has a shedder system and it was omitting a bad smell when we arrived.

Comfy bed, nice linen and fluffy towels. Spotless room, plenty of storage space and nicely decorated. Wi-fi wasn't bad considering it is a very old building. Great location on the high street, near bus stops and shops. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choices. The cooked breakfast was most enjoyable, hot and tasty. Chris and Clare go that extra mile to welcome their guests. Free parking behind the B&B which was a bonus. Can't recommend highly enough.

Very nice stay at this B&B. Very friendly owners and helpfull. The room, and rest of the B&B, was very clean and tidy. The bed was perfect! Breakfast more than good and sufficient options. We had a great stay here for three nights. Perfect.

We stayed here after our first day of hiking on the South West Coast Path. Chris and Claire are excellent hosts, the accommodations were roomy and the breakfast tasty. In the 2+ weeks we were hiking - staying at a different lodging every night - this was one of the best. I definitely recommend their cottage.

We stayed in The Cottage on our first night walking some of the South West Coast Path. We can both recommend it extremely highly to anyone looking for somewhere to stay. It was the best of the five places we stayed at along the way. A lovely welcome, every need is catered for, a comfy bed and a very tasty breakfast. So many little extras were provided that there was nothing more we could have wanted. Lovely people who couldn't do any more to make our stay enjoyable.
