My mother stayed at Dunkirk House, in the dementia wing (Dunkirk Mews), for over a year, until she sadly passed away recently. From the moment my sister and myself walked in the main building, to inspect the home on behalf of my mother before her stay, we were so impressed with everything. It is a beautiful building, in a beautiful location, with beautiful grounds. The staff in the dementia wing do a difficult job incredibly well. The residents are really well attended to, the food/catering is amazing, and they have many activities throughout the week to keep them entertained. My mother was really well cared for and attended to around the time of her passing. Only one word of warning, the residents are looked after so well that many of them live to be in their nineties, and at the time of writing I believe some are around the age of 100! If you are lucky enough to have the option of having a relative stay here then look no further. I cannot speak too highly of Dunkirk House.

An elder care home with warm, friendly staff and comfortable facilities. The grounds are well kept and the gardens (especially the rose garden) are wonderful to walk in. Our mother receives good care here.
