A lovely large cottage in a great setting. Walks on the doorstep into Hawkecoombe Woods and a 10min walk to Porlock high street.
Garden is enclosed so safe for small children and dogs. House was clean and tidy and smelt fresh.
A great base to see Devon. If u get a choice take the toll road instead of Porlock hill and take in the views. Highly recommend this property. Will hopefully return

First time we have stayed at Quarry Cottage. We found it very comfortable a very nice cottage. The welcome pack for us was superb and also one for our dog !. We enjoyed the stay and will be definitely be booking again. Would recommend to anyone wanting a spacious comfortable self-catering cottage.

A beautiful cottage in a really lovely setting. Everything we needed was provided and the place was very welcoming, made even more so with a delicious welcome hamper containing prosecco, milk, eggs, fudge...lovely. A great location for dogs as masses of walks into the woods right from the front door. We really enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be back.

Fantastic cottage in lovely village. Great welcome package and extremely helpful owner. Dog friendly. Well heated. Super walks from the front door. Only reason not 5 stars is getting into drive to park the car is tricky with larger car...but one gets used to this fairly quickly.

Well equipped cottage a few minutes walk from the village centre and from Exmoor footpaths. Very clean too (despite evidently being dog-friendly) with a lovely peaceful feel. Loads of downstairs space, one large bedroom and two smaller, though still doubles, upstairs. Driveway big enough for 2 cars but tight access may be tricky for particularly large vehicles.
Exmoor is great for walking & mountain biking, and has plenty to offer to children of all ages.
We had a brilliant fortnight holiday and would not hesitate to book again if in that area.

Absolute tardis of a cottage that feels more like a well equipped modern family home than a holiday let, beautiful location as rural as possible but with Porlock less than a mile away!
