I do not rate this place at all so the single star is only there so I could post this, The running of this place needs to be tightened, Its all very well having a relaxed rule of alcohol and drug misuse but the very vulnerable need more support especially, I know first hand how the lack of this can impact people and their families who have mental issues as well as alcoholism combined and that is devastating results, someone I knew who lived here was an alcoholic and was struggling terribly took her own life as she could see no way out and bearing in mind she had attempted it two times previously in this place in a short space of time. I think this place's staff, care, support and rules needs to be reviewed and revised to stop this happening again.

Yet again another sleepless night!! 2hrs of shouting and screaming 31/8/22 145am had to be up at 5am for work! Wouldn't give this place a one star but only way I can vent my frustration. this place must be having a laugh at the Neighbouring and local residents. This place No doubtly has helped a few people over the yrs but most don't want help just a roof over there head. People mite not like what I've written! But us the local people are sick to the back of teeth of this. And yes I've emailed this company and spoke to the security guy and been fobbed of few times.

One one hand, staff aim to help residents live an independent life and this facility is supposed to keep people off the streets and provide them with warmth and shelter. Drug and alcohol problems are rife although it is a wet house. The most disconcerting aspect is the sheer amount of violence occurring within the building, often unprovoked, and staff are unable to take full control of the situation.

Unfortunately the only thing that I can say about this place is the roof keeps the rain off you. the staff haven't an inclination to help people get off drink and drugs as a result deaths within the place have occurred. Still a risk to any client stayin there, go under advisement and caution it's not a dry house and drugs and alcohol is always in use within the property and staff are too scared or they don't care about it and I don't care for the place .

Cosgarne hall has helped me massively. The staff work very hard. It's not a rehabilitation centre it's a homelessness project. Yes they may well be drink and drug tolarent, but only in ur own room. Better there than in your local park etc. I'd say there's 10 times more people in St Austell that drink and do drugs in they're own homes. 75% of the clients at cosgarne hall are local people and if cosgarne wasn't there to help you would have a load of anti social behaviour in ur town.

I went on the website as I'm in a time of need right now. And there is no way to contact you I don't like speaking on the phone but am about to be homeless. I've been on many websites for places like this and there all the same. It's not what you know it's who you know and it really shows
