This is regarding the Holmbush square shop not the furniture shop.
We purchased afew items which were mostly from a 50p box and also purchased afew baby clothes 0-3 months , we had a fair few items ready to purchase and an older woman on the till seemed to be getting confused and started separating the items and moving them around , another member of staff joined the woman to help, I was surprised how much the bill came too considering the items were all mostly 50p and others no more than a pound , we were charged £48 all together , the woman handed me a prepacked bag and I was surprised everything fitted in to one small bag so we questioned this before we left the shop, we were told everything was in the bag but upon leaving the woman was finding items on the floor behind the till which I had just purchased ! I asked again “are you sure this is everything? Because I’m surprised it would all fit in this little bag” again they insisted it was and i also questioned the amount I was charged and we did clearly say that we would check everything when we got home and will be back if there is an inconsistency concerning the items and we were also in a rush as it taken 30mins. When we got home it was clear a lot of items were missing from the bag and we had not been any where else than straight home and also that we clearly had been over charged by a small fortune, we contacted the shop and spoke to a manager who refused to help and said they could not do anything, I do not resent the money we where over charged as it is a charity we regularly donate too financially but the situation was appalling and we were treated very poorly, the missing items we feel were put back on the shop floor as when we returned to speak to someone about this situation we recognised afew of the missing items which We had purchased the day prior were actually on the shop floor for sale again, very concerning and we will not be supporting this charity in the future because of this experience from now on which is a shame and a big loss for the charity as I have with drawn from them financially and will be offering our support and custom as an entire family else where. Please beware and cautious when visiting this shop. Upon returning to the shop with the receipt / items and questioning were the items we had just purchased had actually ended up as we did not have them in the bag they packed and handed us dispite us questioning this more than once before we left the shop initially, we were forced to wait over an hour while the staff “thought” it over and we were met with absolutely no help regarding the situation and to add insult to injury our afternoon was wasted on this spending over an hour waiting around for no reason in the shop waiting for someone to attempt to offer some form of help, people should not be treated in this way especially when they are supporters of the charity, a particular older member of staff who was present on the second visit when we returned to complain who was wearing glasses and had long grey hair was particularly rude towards us and other customers who were browsing in the shop while we were at this shop complaining ourselves about our own experience. We were quite shocked are not prepared to support this if this is how the charity operates.

Arrived at 4.25pm last week mistakenly thinking the shop was open until 5pm - was told closing time is 4.30pm. Went back today at 4.10 only to be told ‘sorry we are closed’. When I mentioned I was told closing time is 4.3Opm the manager and a tall blonde woman rudely said ‘oh no it’s 4.15 - 4.30 ish’!
Don’t advertise that you close at 4.30pm when you clearly do not!

Very well-priced, found a lovely pair of beige trousers that were originally from Woolworths for £3.50 & a vest top for £1.50. Appreciated the colour organisation although it would be good to put things in size order too.

Very clean charity shop, no musty smells, really good quality items for sale, some beautiful winter coats/jackets for only £5. Definitely worth a visit.

Would not bother going in again saw item in window looked at label it said it was for sale I asked assistant and she said I have been told nothing out of window until after jubilee can be sold ?so can't replace item on show with shop full of red /white/blue. Obviously charity doesn't need money if that's attitude.

I did not pay X amount for my second hand bed plus a delivery fee, for my mother to inform me the bed had been "dragged" along your warehouse and the driver suggested I "sponge it out".. I now have to rearrange plans I made tomorrow to come and choose another bed. Absolutely fuming, do not charge the prices you charge if you aren't going to look after what is now mine before its rightfully delivered to my home..
