We have visited many garages on our holiday in Cornwall. This one was by far the best in our opinion 😁
Beautiful and enchanting, pleasant surprise on every turn.
We were lucky to have the pleasure of meeting the owners, a humble and kind couple, happy to engage in pleasant conversation.
Cream tea , pink lemonade and croissant were great and truly appreciated in stunning surroundings.
All in all we are delighted to have visited such a lovely gem of Cornwall.

This place is not be missed! A new discovery for us. So peaceful, and such beautiful gardens. Felt as if we were exploring somewhere undiscovered. Had an absolutely delightful tea on the incredible terrace. Wonderfully friendly people.
If you go to St Mawes you must visit here.

Over the years, we have done a good majority of the gardens in Cornwall, they all have their differences, and we have enjoyed the majority.
On this trip we wanted to find a new garden to visit, so I did a Google search, and found Lamorran Gardens, thought, that's a bonus, it's at St Mawes, one of our favorite little places.
As this is a private garden, and only open 3 days a week, we were lucky enough it was open on the day we wanted.
On arrival we found the parking a little awkward, outside the property there is enough parking for about 8 vehicles on the road side, what can you expect from a family home, anyway, that is part of the charm to this garden, it can't get overrun with other visitors, massive plus point.
We had a walm welcome to the gardens and given a bit of the history about how it was all built, handed a little map, and off we went, first stop the veranda, for a cream tea for me, and tea and lemon drizzle cake for my wife, excellent service, the cakes were fantastic, all homemade by the owner, and very reasonably priced.
Then the gardens, wow, they were stunning, very well cared for, the way the planting had been done, the winding paths, the statues, pond, small water features, the detail and the views, all in all, the best and most enjoyable garden we have ever visited to date.
A big thank you to the owners for opening their amazing garden to the general public, and the walm welcome we received.

I spent a few hours in this lovely garden with a wide variety of plants and trees plus a nice pond with koi carp, followed by tea in the small cafe area. Recommended.

Fantastic garden with spectacular views over the sea. Good for 2-3 hour visit with tea, coffee, and snacks. There is no playground for kids, so it's better suited for garden lovers.

A beautiful, secluded lush garden that reveals and conceals at every turning. It’s hard to believe this is only 40 years old such is the height of the canopy of trees. Views are framed by ruins and arbours that make the garden feel romantic and older than it is.
Excellent signage and very well maintained pathways make navigation of this vertiginous site easy even on this dull, rainy day.

Really enjoyed the gardens, wish I'd gone earlier in the year as missed most of the flowering shrubs. Lots of little paths, the route was well signposted. A couple of hours well spent.
