Classical guitar concert in the church.
Great acoustics.
Lovely setting.
Most picturesque church I know of in Cornwall.
Right on the water. Lovely grounds.
Toilets accessed via a flight of steep steps/tarmac walkway which is more accessible.

A very special place!!

There is a tearoom at the top of the hill, before walking down to the beautiful church, situated next to the water. The grave stones date back centuries and the grounds are beautiful and very well looked after.

There are tags inside the church, that you can write a personal message on and hang on the prayer tree outside.

Just a beautiful place to visit set right on the Percuil River, the gardens are stunning and tranquil the 13th century church is fabulous, just a beautiful place to visit, it is quite steep in places, , there is a carpark, there's no cost as such but you can donate set amounts, dogs are allowed but must be on a lead.there is also a lovely café next to the carpark.

What can I say? This is going to be a bit on the long side....An absolutely beautiful jewel of a church. Very pretty. Very welcoming, some beautifully crafted kneeling pads ( all done by locals), lots of remembrance plaques to read, plenty to see inside, items can be bought, a true masterpiece that is well cared for. The churchyard.. never before have I ever seen such well-kept, loved, and respected graves. They date from hundreds of years ago to the present day. The whole area and church is incredibly atmospheric. The landscaping is amazing. If you visit, do walk all over, you'll be amazed at all the beautiful planting...you can spend a couple of hours or a whole morning/afternoon here easily. When you're finished, visit the tea room opposite or walk pass the boat yard and across the fields into St Mawes. There are no pictures of the outside landscaping that includes the graves out of respect.

It's definitely worth a visit.
The graves are set around the trees and up the banks, which makes it feel very special.
The walk and garden have a lovely, serene feeling.
