Got my lovely cat Koumy from here, the process was very professional and good. Went to meet her and was told everything about her history, medication and needs. Took her home 2 weeks later and she is the sweetest cat. The rescue was so tidy and clean, and the staff were very good. Thank you! She’s settled in so well, and is a great cat 🙂

We adopted Dottie (was Dusky) & Sooty just over a week ago. They settled in as soon as they walked in the door. Sooty is a real love bug and Dottie is a real little character. They are both 15 + years but this doesn’t hold them back, and this can be their retirement home. Big thanks to Hula for looking after them and allowing us to be their new family. Sandra & John.

We popped in to rehome a cat for my mum, such wonderful staff and great little pods for all the cats, the Dogs wanted to meet us to, a beautiful sanctuary for all needing a forever home. The staff were very informative and the animals were all well cared for, worth a visit if you are looking for a special pet to adopt and love.

First of all please note that hula has been taken over by another animal charity the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT) and signs to it from the road now reflect this. Nawt are currently putting a huge amount of investment into refurbishing the site with brand new cattery, kennel block, office and refurbished staff house all being done it looks fabulous. There will be a grand opening in September 2023 and the rescue animals will all have fantastic facilities while they wait for their forever homes. Please support it the team there are fantastic and especially support their grand opening day this September.

It used to be a lovely place with a genuine non destruct policy but now dogs (and probably cats) are apparently put to sleep routinely if they are deemed difficult to rehome or "on veterinary advice" because of psychological well-being without even being given a chance. No mention on the website of the founder who worked so hard to start the place up many years ago. And it's no longer an independent little charity sadly.
