This is a fantastic gap year programme which two of my children have enjoyed in Kenya. They’re kept busy every day but loved that they were doing something really valuable for local communities. In their free time they have fantastic fun and make friends that last well beyond the trip itself. A highlight of the Kenya trip for both of them was the 5 day safari- a real bonus. A special mention must go to the wonderful, warm people who looked after them and gave me great peace of mind! Thank you so much Joseph, Juma and Amelia, and everyone in the UK office. A really first class outfit.

I cannot recommend the Sri Lankan Mid Lifer trip more highly. It is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences I have had in years. Tekanda Lodge is a delight, Richard and Charlie are the perfect hosts. The teaching was so uplifting and the climb a real challenge but we all made it. I made some amazing new friends and would happily do it all over again. Enormous thanks to everyone involved.

Well where does one start with The Leap? First of all a big pat on the back for my daughter in finding them on Instagram! She booked her trip to Columbia and met her fellow Gappers for the first time at Heathrow. OMG what fun she has had, so much so she booked on to the Costa Rica trip! She has made forever friends and memories of a lifetime! Massive thank you to Millie and Zoe - your pre-departure zoom chat, your email confirming arrival, weekly reports and fab pics. What more can we ask for as anxious parents? Truly spoilt but worth every penny. We can’t thank you enough.”

Me and my brother did the Costa Rica adventure programme which lasted 4 weeks. We literally experienced so much! The pace never stops and you’re never missing home or finding yourself being bored, it’s so exciting. Each place has its perks, the finca had the quiet tranquil days and parties at night with a private pool. Samara saw a week of beaches, surfing and dolphin spotting. Monteverde was full of adventure with zip lining, bunjee jumping and waterfall hikes. Natuwa saw some of the most gorgeous animals. Overall an amazing experience! The leap then helped with our ongoing travels helping transfer us to the airport (and getting us there on time!) I would recommend this programme so highly 🤩

Lizzie, Jack, Pedro and all the other staff are what made my Costa Rica Plastic Oceans trip so special. I was given the perfect balance of feeling completely independent but also knowing people were there if I needed any help. All the accommodation was great and the food was always took notch. From surfing and Spanish lessons to bungee jumping and boat trips all of the activities were incredible, and the volunteering projects gave me a unique opportunity to give back to the amazing community and wildlife in Costa Rica.

The Leap Organisation is a professionally run outfit with excellent staff here in the UK and with the Leapers abroad. The trip to Costa Rica was so well organised, great program and fantastic experiences. We had a slight medical drama with out daughter whilst away, the team were efficient, compassionate and kind.
I would highly recommend and our second daughter is looking at trips for summer 2025. Thank you so much for everything. Our daughter has made memories and friends for ever.

One of the best experiences of my life!! I met the most amazing people and experienced so many incredible things. The trip is so well organised and you get a mix of everything Costa Rica has to offer! Lizzie and Carmen were the most incredible group leaders and this made such a difference, I recommend this trip to anyone who is thinking about doing it!
