Edwina is an awesome woman, she’s very knowledgeable and has great passion for looking after these animals, we couldn’t recommend her enough! We was a bit sceptical about handing our turtles over to a complete stranger, but after a few messages and a warm welcome on Saturday morning when we visited we couldn’t be more reassured that our turtles are in safe hands. We’re so glad you could help us out! Keep doing what your doing, you’re awesome! Thank you again:) Kyle.

Excellent service by an experienced and kind lady.
Sadly had to bring in my two musk turtles so they could have a better life. Edwina was very reassuring and put me at ease.
I'm happy to know my turtles are going to go to a place where they can be better cared for and be with other turtles.
I highly recommend contacting her if you need any advise or help.

Highly recommend. Edwina is very knowledgeable, dedicated and clearly cares immensely.
We adopted a Bearded Dragon and Edwina was brilliant throughout the whole process. She provided all equipment and set up ready with everything we needed.
We are so grateful and our new boy is so loved.
Would give 100 star rating if we could!
Thankyou! X

Edwina was absolutely lovely & has very good knowledge of her reptiles. I was assured my little map turtle would be put into a quarantine and then socialised with other little turtles in a mud/pool and is fed on a very well nourished diet. Lovely lovely lady, at first I was very upset about rehousing but I'm actually very pleased he's going to such a loving home where he will get the nourishment and care he needs. Thankyou so much! Well done for all you do for these baby's that need a loving home! I'm assured he'll definitely have that now xx

Edwina was absolutely brilliant with rehoming our crested gecko, who is incredibly timid and needed a quieter environment (we have young children), and someone who specialises in gecko care. We know that she is in very safe and caring hands, and that this was the best move for her to be happy 😊 Thanks for everything Edwina x

We found an old tortoise on the road in Herefordshire and were unable to locate an owner. He obviously needed a lot of space and liked to be outside, which we couldn't accommodate. After a week trying to locate an owner I found the sanctuary online, the only one in the Midlands I believe. Edwina responded immediately to say she could take him in. We travelled to Redditch and was so pleased he would be well looked after. She is extremely knowledgeable and kind hearted. She told us he was very old, 70+ but in great condition and probably has lived outside most of his life. We had to fill in all the necessary paperwork and Edwina would do all the rest. She will contact local vets and contacts etc to again try and locate an owner. The tortoise will now go into quarantine for 4 weeks and she'll take a stool sample for signs of worms. After that he can meet some friends there. Hopefully he will be fostered at some point in the future as he was a lovely lad. Very boisterous and strong though! They so need space and a happy environment but would make a perfect pet for the right person. Thank you Edwina you are doing a fantastic job, we need more like you in this world, and please keep me updated! Highly recommended.

I was very sad that after 8 years, I could no longer keep my turtle as she had began to bully the other. I took her to Edwina and from speaking over messages to meeting in person, I felt incredibly reassured in Edwina’s care and passion for these animals.

It’s a hard thing to do but Edwina makes every step of it easier, even with all the other animals she cares for day in, day out.

I could not recommend her enough as it’s lovely to know that both my turtle is happy and anything you can donate will go to an amazing cause!

Thank you Edwina 🙂
