A place where men18-75+ can use or develop practical shed based skills in a relaxed atmosphere eg carpentry woodturning furniture restoration or build your own projects all tools available for members to use (subject to initial competency training) come for a look around and if you like what you see sign up for an induction which happens every fortnight on a tues or weds taster sessions available courses available to sign up for. (A £5 per month min contribution goes towards the bills and pay as you go on materials temporary opening times atm

An excellent charity that helps men to learn new skills, share their own with others and help to produce useful wooden and metal items. There's also a strong social element and new members are made very welcome.

Here you can meet other men to engage in craft activities in workshops. Upstairs on Tuesday afternoons you can meet other men socially and/or to play board games, etc. Simply call in for further information.

I paid for an evening corse which was run by a lovely man called Julian…the place was my kind of heaven. I absolutely loved it… I so wish I could be a member 🙁

Lots of tools, lots of work benches, lots of wood, lots of assistance and/or training, lots of friendly older gents. Couldn't ask for a better place to spend time.

They are a community based organisation. They have a fully functional forge and woodworking shop they are very friendly and have been able to cater for my needs.
