My grandma passed away here less than 24 hours ago. It was hard seeing her final days, final hours.
The staff here could not have done more for my grandma. Very attentive, such caring souls. Not only did they support my gran, make her comfortable treat her with such dignity and respect, they provided a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on and advice for our family. Nothing was ever to much for them.
My gran enjoyed what life she had left here. She always commented on the wonderful staff, how great the food was. How she felt safe.
I'm saddened by her death obviously, but she couldn't have been in a safer and more caring environment.

We send all our thanks and appreciation to each and every member of staff who cared for her. Thankyou

rest easy grandma. ❤️

My sister has just died today in the care of the hospice. We are devastated as a family and shocked by her sudden decline due to pancreatic cancer.

What wonderful care they gave her and us. We couldn't have imagined anything more sympathetic and sensitive in every way. This came from every single member of staff. We felt their support at every step along a painful journey. How deeply grateful we are for what they did.

Its a place where all nursing staff are very obliging, reassuring with whatever illness you go in there with, the policy of care is tremendous ,I myself do a role called befriending, which is to help all people that are lonely, so the role consists of doing a one to one role with the patient, plus having a cup of tea or coffee with them and talking any problems that they have to try and help them with, trying to solve the issue with them , then if can't resolve the issue reporting it back to my coordinator.if any person who reads this would like a role in this work with people who are lonely and just want companionship with a befriender to take them out for company and relaxation plus to have a nice cup of tea or coffee.

I've been going to the hospice 10+ years now to remember my husband with my family and always a lovely light up service everyone so so kind and it was a lovely place when my husband was in the hospice poorly. ..But last night we sadly came across a very rude and uncompassionate woman sat at the desk by name of Win weaton i think the hospice should be very careful when taken volunteers.
