Such an interesting piece of history! The centre is full of information and artifacts from when Marconi used Angrouse cliffs as his chosen location to send the first radio waves from Mullion to New Foundland, Canada in 1901. The field still shows the remnants of the foundations for the enormous ariels and the buildings erected for the engineers to carry out their work. Fascinating! These photos show the Marconi Monument in the southwest coast path next to the field in which his work was done. If you want to holiday in the accommodation built for Marconi's engineers you can book Marconi's Reach!

Techy people would love the history of this monument. Definitely worth a short walk from car park.

Didn’t go in the museum as it was closed so this is a rating for the memorial to Marconi. Which is pretty plain to be honest. Still, there is no denying the events that happened here so I’m glad this has been acknowledged.

Brilliant little museum run by radio amateurs, but there is nothing amateur about it. And to know that all of it is run n donations.
It has limited opening hours and no open every day. But worth a visit to understand the history and great for kids to try out the morse code.

Really important location for telecoms history. Very atmospheric for us, but I presume we will have to come back in the season to find the visitor centre open.
