Visited the shop recently near closing hours and interestingly two employees were seen carrying two large shopping bags each to their cars. One of them is short haired and drives a silver, state car. Second employee drives a small, green, boxed-like car. Both are older ladies and wear glasses. They left via the back door, placed the bags into their respective cars, and went back to the shops. I didn't stay around to see what would happen next.

All I can say is that the shop shelves are full of overpriced stuff, most of them uninteresting. Shame, I used to like this shop a lot and over the years donated boxes and boxes of unwanted stuff.

Visited this for the time, did arrive a little bit early and was refused entrance as they were still cleaning from the day before. The shop was a mess and they were still cleaning when I was eventually allowed to enter. The manager was very rude and the staff were messing talking about nurf guns. Not really worth a trip out, just a lot items dumped on shelves.

I am blown away by the vibrant and happy Age UK 're-use' shop beside the recycling centre (aka the tip) near Tamworth. Every Council should take a leaf out of their book! It is shocking how much is wasted in other recycling locations, where perfectly good items are thrown away in the general waste for landfill. This place is just perfect! The staff here work tirelessly and despite being run off their feet they are thoroughly welcoming and friendly. The prices are astonishingly good. I bought five books, a shelf unit, and a walker for an elderly relation, all for £16! The shop can take all kinds of donations, including working electrical items which they PAT test before selling. More volunteers are needed so go and have a chat if you're looking for something valuable to do.

Used to be really good, however the last six months they've started putting everything half decent on eBay and filling the shop full of tat which has also doubled in price. A lot of times you see things in the back which 'isnt for sale yet' they tell you it's going on eBay, however I have them as a saved seller on eBay and the items never go for sale, leaving me to believe the staff are having best pick on everything that enters the shop. Real shame. Not only that the shop is FULL of resellers buying up everything to sell on.

Open again, really careful precautions in place, felt safe. Drop off donations and they go into a container to quarantine for 3 days. Shop has been cleaned and more space, one way system and limited number inside at a time. Good stock, got some bargains😀

My mother is addicted to this place 🤣
I find alot of the items are overpriced and can be purchased new from a shop for a fraction of the price. The shop is sometimes overcrowded with items.

Staff are lovely. Friendly and chatty 🙂🙂
