Polperro Harbour is a lovely fishing village full of character, with various shops and eateries, a bakery, ice cream, and pasties. There is also a small beach just around the corner, accessible by a flight of steps. The harbour is suitable for mobility scooters from the car park to the beach, but please note that the car park is quite expensive. However, visitors agree that the experience is worth it, especially on a sunny day when you could spend hours exploring the charming village and its surroundings.

The harbour's wheelchair accessibility is a notable feature, with wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot onsite. This makes it an ideal destination for families with young children or those with mobility issues.

With its stunning views, rich history, and array of amenities, Polperro Harbour is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling through the Looe region. Its average rating of 4.6/5 on Google My Business speaks to its popularity and the positive experiences of its visitors.

Lovely fishing village, full of character. Various shops and eateries plus bakery , icecream and pasties. Small beach round the corner down one flight of steps.
Ok for a mobility scooter from the car park to the beach.
Car park is very expensive but only option and worth it, especially on a sunny day when you could spend hours there.

A lovley spot to visit. Best come between April and October as a lot of shops & trips open then. Please note the parking machine does not accept credit cards.
Bring £15 in £1 coins for the parking machine. There is a £5 & £10 note pound exchange machine, but just bring coins

Polperro is a beautiful little village with plenty of little quirky shops, plenty of eateries and coffee shops. The walks are lovey with amazing views. My only negative is the price or the carpark, £7 for 3 hrs (min) which is extortionate, utter greed

This place is well worth a visit. A few things to know in advance. You can't drive down to the harbour you park on a large car park just up from the harbour. Be aware of two things. The car park spaces are too close together for a longer vehicle. I was in a saloon car and had to park on an end space or it would not have been easy or possible to get my car into the spaces. Minimum charge to park is £7 and they only take cash. Once you've sorted that it's a 700 metre walk down to the harbour which is well worth it. Quaint artisan shops await with some great cafes and places to explore. Highly recommend Kitty's Lobster and seafood bar and the model village, both worth experiencing. Highly recommend a visit.

Polperro always retains its Cornish charm with its narrow streets leading to a picturesque harbour and a plethora of unique gift shops. It also offers plenty of cafes and pubs to enjoy a drink or two. We also took part in a very enjoyable half hour boat trip around Polperro on the open water!

Nice place! Calm and quiet fisherman's village with a nice view. You can find some good restaurants and bakeries. Park the car in the parking area outside the village. You can pay in the machine or online. You can find public toilets inside the village if required

One of the most beautiful harbour areas in Cornwall.
The walkways are small but quaint.
There are plenty of benches around the harbour.
A few cafes and pubs.
A walkway along side it to a viewing point. ( look for the very small sign )
It looks dramatically different with the tide in vs out, and when it is out there's a very small beach area.
Dogs allowed on the beach but on leads after 10am.
Worth a visit, any time of the year.

Like a ghost town out of season! Went in March and the only real activity was that of painters and decorators doing up what I can only assume are holiday homes before the main season. Most shops closed. I understand that places such as these have low seasons but it really disappointed in that it looked run down and to be charged £7 to park felt far too much.
