AMAZING!! I was so terrified of doing this. I didn’t sleep the night before and was in tears when they called for our turn. The staff here are incredible! They put you at ease and are so reassuring. Safety checks are carried out a lot, I knew I was in safe hands. Shout out to Ryan my instructor! He’s the calmest guy I have ever met and made me feel so at ease! I couldn’t believe how I had gone from nearly having a panic attack in tears to staying so calm when I was with him! Words cannot explain the feeling you experience when you are up there. It’s the best thing I have ever done and I cannot wait to do it again!!!! I’d also like to thank my camera guy who captured an amazing video for me! I can’t stop watching it!

If you’re debating doing this, you HAVE to do it! You won’t regret it!

What a wonderful exhilarating experience. There is nothing that will explain how the feeling actually is unless you try it for yourself. It is scary but not scary, if that makes any sense! You just get carried away with the experience a d forget to be scared with all of you, around a dozen people crammed into the aeroplane waiting to climb the 135,000ft before you take your life in your own hands and tumble out of the doorway to your death defying leap of faith! Why, why not! I've never had the reason or the inclination to do this but having cancer and being asked to jump out of an aeroplane for Maggie's the cancer charity seemed a worthy cause. So yes, 'why not' it's a small price to pay for all the good a d worthy people in the hospitals, NHS, Christies, Dr's and nurses we meet almost everyday but don't necessarily understand the vocational journeys that they're on. I know we all banged our pans during the pandemic but doing a skydive seems more personal and shows my respect for everybody that pulled me through this life changing surgery. And YES, I have 100% recovered, surgery was the only realistic option, but plummeting to earth from a great height I thought might scare the disease from me. It didn't have to and it wasn't scary, take it from me, just try it. You are flying, soaring through the skies without a care in the world. Thank you Maggie's for encouraging me to take part in this wonderful charity event. Something I won't forget lightly for the rest of my cancer free life. ♥️

My sky dive was on 14 September. I was doing this on behalf of Birmingham Hospice who looked after my sister. Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly staff who helped me to sign in. There was a Cafe on site so was able to grab a Coffee before we were called to be suited up. The safety video was clear to follow and any questions were answered. We then met up with the person we were to be strapped to, for me this was Hans for my Tandem Instructor and Pete as my Camera flyer. They were both super helpful and made me feel relaxed throughout the suiting up and climb to 13,000ft. All through the jump Hans was chatting to me and making sure I enjoyed the ride. Pete took some amazing photos and videos and I even got to fly myself which was awesome. It was an amazing experience and I definitely want to go again.

Warning! Skydiving is addictive!
I had my first skydive with Skydive Tilstock Freefall Club on Saturday. I was super nervous but Jim my instructor and Buzz my video flyer completely looked after me made me laugh and put me at ease. I felt safe at all times and everything was fully explained. It was exhilarating amazing incredible and literally left me speechless. This is something everyone should experience at least once in a lifetime twice if you like it! I'm already planning my next skydive and Tilstock is so good my family want to do it with me 😆
Could not recommend these guys more everyone was friendly professional and efficient with added humour 👌

The charity my wife works for had a charity jump organised.
It was a fun day but it took quite a long time. The airfield has a cafe and toilets and a viewing area to watch the skydivers.
A fun day for all and it raised some money for charity. A win win for all involved.

Absolutely fantastic experience, we had a little bit of a wait but we still jumped within their normal expected times. It was worth the wait! The full team were making sure I had a great time. Dave who looked after me through the jump and Jen for her fantastic photography. All topped off with a proposal when I landed... they looked after my fiance brilliantly as he nervously waited for me to land. I keep watching the video just to relive it all! Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing experience, I dropped with Ben and Wilko was the cameraman, two fantastic guys, never felt nervous at all, really enjoyable and I would personally recommend Tilstock if any of you are planning to jump, I for one will certainly be going back 🪂🪂🪂

Everyone must try it. I couldn't fault anything. Ben my instructor was great. Good sense of humour, puts you well at ease. Felt very safe from start to finish, with instructions and video. Cameraman Wilko was great. Got some amazing video and photos, including a preflight interview as to my reason for doing it, since I lost my brother to suicide. Can't believe I jumped from 13,000 feet!
Landing was easy. No swearing, bruises or being sick,!!!
I recommend anyone else to jump with skydive Tilstock. Very experienced, safe and confident to jump with the staff.
I can't wait to do it again!!!
Facilities on site and cafe food smells delicious. Well worth the price for the full package.
