My son is starting here in April and from the start when I signed him up back in September the team have been great with communication. He has begun his settling in sessions and I am already so pleased. A lovely warm welcome every time we enter and my son is settling in well already. This is one thing that attracted me to the nursery- their long settling period, enabling children to feel completely settled before their start date and putting parents mind at ease before returning to work. Very excited to continue his journey here at Twizzle Tops. Thank you to the lovely team.

My daughter has attended Twizzle Tops at Wat Tyler since just before she turned 1 and she loves it!

It can be a daunting prospect leaving your little one at nursery, however all the staff at Twizzle Tops were great at putting my daughter and myself at ease through this process. Their extended settling in period really gives the children and parents the time to become familiar with the nursery and staff and effectively build those key relationships.

The staff are all extremely welcoming and genuinely care about the children and their wellbeing. One of things I value highly about the nursery is that time isn't spent logging observations on an iPad, but instead spent interacting with the children, which then allows the staff to provide you with detailed feedback at pick up at the end of the day.

Frankie and the team provide support not only to the children, but to the parents too which really makes Twizzle Tops feel like a nurturing, family environment. My daughter loves going to nursery and I can see how much all the staff love and value her, which as a parent, makes me feel happy leaving her there where I know she will be well cared for and nurtured.

Best nursery I’ve ever worked in and I love making bonds with the children and parents, most children call me ‘mone’. I’ve worked here for nearly a year and love what I do. I’m based in the toddler room and I look forward teaching the children new things everyday whether if it’s teaching them to dress themselves or putting their shoes on for a walk. The walks are very relaxing and looking around the community around Wat Tyler.

I have worked at twizzle tops Wat Tyler Basildon for nearly 8 years now. It is a fantastic place to work and I love working there. I’m based in the toddler room so look forward to spending my days with them all teaching them but most of all having fun. Most of the children call me “Nanny” and we have such great relationship with the parents. It’s like a home from home.

As part of the team at twizzletops i feel I get a back seat pass to all the action so can honestly say how much the staff really do care about each child and try to go the extra mile... what more would you expect when run by such an amazing manager .
I'm only disappointed I didn't know about them sooner to send my own son.
I would/and have recommend if looking for a nursery for your child.

Both of my children attended twizzle tops day nursery my son 2015-2018 & my daughter 2018-2020! Amazing nursery my children absolutely loved being at nursery & loved all the staff! In 2021 I started working with twizzle tops nursery myself! And it’s just amazing working in there as it was sending both of my children there! Would highly reccomend this nursery!!!

Hi everyone,

Reviews are not usually my thing, but I needed to write this about my recent visit to this nursery.

As a full time mummy, with the two most beautiful things on Gods Earth, my twin boys…I finally after a year of spending every moment with them, had to make the hardest decision of all…

Back to work, look at a childminder, family members or a nursery?

I was torn with which one do I choose, but ultimately I made the decision and have joined this nursery.

I’ve always known Frankie the manager, and her reputation around the local nurseries as one of the most down to Earth people and helpful person you could ever meet…..

My partner, my boys and I arrived at the nursery, to be met by Frankie, she gave me a huge beaming smile introduced herself and then was straight to fussing over the twins, I could see her eyes light up at the sight of them, only someone with the biggest heart would do.

We were whisked away into the nursery rooms, wow….the open spaces, the cleanliness, the routines and the calmness of a baby room, the happy staff, all just honestly…playing and singing with this age group..

All you could hear was giggles and the background low sound of nursery rhymes, I of course knew, this is exactly what I was looking for!!

Frankie talked so passionately about the nursery, then we talked about the twins, then my partner said, I think they need some lunch…we should get going…

Without hesitation, one of the staff from the room, came over and said

Come and sit with them, let me help you…do you have something with you?

She then took my two boys and partner and off they went to enjoy some lunch….being the mummy I am…they had some snacks ready to go….but wow!!

I of course, stood and found myself with tears in my eyes, they are going to love it!!

This nursery clearly has so many wonderful reviews because of the manager and the staffing.

My journey with Twizzle Tops has only just begun…but I have a feeling it’s going to be the best decision I have made.

Thank you to all the staff who worshipped and said how beautiful my family is, what a great place to put your little ones.
