Curves, Plymstock is a great gym, especially designed with ladies in mind. All the equipment is straightforward to use and not intimidating and there is always someone there to help you out if you need advice. Another plus point is that you aren't faced with a wall of mirrors or expected to wear full-on specialist gym gear, you wear what you feel comfortable in. Cheryl is friendly and approachable and very encouraging. The circuit is devised to give an all round workout and there is no having to wait ages for a piece of equipment as you use each piece in the same order as others and all change at the same time. The gym is always clean and tidy with equipment being regularly cleaned down. Definitely worth a visit to see for yourself how friendly a place Curves is.

I moved into the area approximately seven years ago and found Curves was practically on my doorstep. I had wanted to join an all ladies gym for some time. It is a really friendly place and Cheryl is very helpful. My fitness workouts are mostly fun although I do have to put more of an effort in at times.

I have recently joined Curves and I am really enjoying my workouts. The sessions are half an hour long so easy to fit in even on busy days. Booking is quick and simple using the app. The staff are very friendly and helpful and give lots of one to one advice.

Fantastic little gym, and the only gym I have continued going to regularly once the novelty has worn off. This is mainly due to the workouts only taking 30 minutes and being so local. A very friendly, non judgemental and supportive environment. Cheryl has supported me in getting fitter and improving my diet, whilst maintaining a weight I'm happy with. I would highly recommend Curves Plymstock and would say to give it a go.

This works! Curves is 30 minutes of HIIT circuits on resistance machines 3 times a week. It is designed to work all areas of your body, and it does! The SMART system allows you to track and monitor your progress and motivates you to work harder, improving each time. The commaraderie from other members is friendly and encouraging.
Cheryl, the manager, is very knowledgeable and supportive in all areas of nutrition and fitness. Regular fitness and weight advice are at hand should you need it at no extra cost.
An app allows you to book in, so you can choose to go at less busy times if you prefer. For those who are not fans of gyms, then this is the answer. It's quick,
women only and no mirrors or lycra.

Lovely ladies only gym. Very friendly atmosphere, and opened to ladies of all ages. The workout takes 30 minutes and is easy to fit into your schedule. I have been going for a few years and, as others have mentioned, it's the only exercise I've stuck to! Definitely worth giving it a go!

Curves Plymstock is a really friendly, safe and welcoming female only gym. Cheryl is very knowledgeable and always keen to support you so that you get the best out of your 30 minute workout whatever your age. She’s a friend to everyone!
