It's a large church with an adjacent multi function building from which the food bank runs supporting local residents with free basic food items.

I actually visited the building as I was invited to a birthday party, however my wife and I support this food bank through regular donations.

On one hand it's really good. They offer free food to the needy.

However almost everyone who uses this food bank seems to be able to afford a combination of cigarettes, weed and alcohol whilst claiming they cannot afford to buy food.

If they were to educate people about their lifestyle and spending priorities rather that just dishing out free food it would be better. Look to genuinely help people rather than enabling their lifestyles.

Supposed to last 3 days. I could not even make a meal. I'm not ungrateful because when working I donated £30 per month.
