It is never a pleasant experience when your loved one has to move into a care home, but I am so glad we chose this one. The rooms are nice, the selection of meals is good but it is the staff that make this place shine. During the 7 months my mum resided here, I witnessed genuine compassion from the staff and they could not do enough to help. Of course there are always going to be teething problems, as the staff all need to get to know the resident, but we knew she was safe, fed and watered. My only complaint would be that because she was bed bound, she did not have much company, but the staff did the best they could. I have spoken to other people who have had some really poor experiences with care homes, so I feel blessed, and I thank all the wonderful people who helped to make mums last months bearable.

Visited with a group of others to provide entertainment for residents and staff. Very pleasant grounds. My comments are made as a visitor. The atmosphere inside is calm and relaxed. I was struck by how spacious and well-kept the communal areas were, including a large hall with stage. The staff were always calm and attentive to the residents and seemed unhurried. The spiritual needs of residents are catered for in the chapel, where daily masses and other Christian services are held. I felt that the Christian aspect of Nazareth House was very valuable.
