I recently had the opportunity to visit the Imam Hussain Foundation Centre, and I was absolutely impressed by its historic significance as one of the oldest Shia centres in the UK. The dedication and warmth of the Shia Afghani community managing this centre is commendable, and their open arms towards all azadars make this a truly inclusive space.

It's evident that they're passionately working towards enhancing the facility. I noticed ongoing improvements like the addition of a sports area, a dedicated play zone for children, a madrasa, and an expansion of the hall. These updates aim to make the centre even more welcoming and functional for its community members.

However, the centre needs our support. They currently have a shortfall of £308,944 for their renovations. I urge everyone reading this to consider donating towards this noble cause. Let's come together and ensure the heart of this community beats stronger than ever!?

Came out of my house today to find madness on the rushden Estate due to a event being held here. Ridiculous amount of cars parked in stupid places, blocking roads and drives. Drove past, heading to kingswood, large group of people in the road oblivious to vehicles driving. Two members of staff standing there in hi vis not doing there job, had to almost come to a stop to allow the people in the road to move. As always when these places get set up, no consideration or care to the people who live in these areas.
