This is just my opinion as my experience is going to be very different to most.
My father in law was privileged to be taken out to sea and have his ashes scattered by the crew. This is not normally something they do everyday, but with his grandad previously working for the lifeboat station here and him being in the Navy, they agreed that we could take him home to Hoylake and do this.
What a day!!
Crew was absolutely amazing!! And we can't thank them enough.
They all do a fantastic job, and I believe they are totally undervalued.
Thank you so much from all of the family. Stay safe and keep doing what you're doing. You have no idea just how great you guys are!!!

Not much to see except the wonderful "black Pearl" the ghost pirate ship built by local artist. Kids loved it, and then there's also the beach and a little boat lake too.

I've never needed the services of the lifeboat thankfully, but often stop as I cycle past the modern lifeboat facility in Hoylake.
