Myself and my partner adopted a greyhound (AJ) from the rescue. All I can say is that the staff at the home were absolutely amazing, always going above and beyond. As she wasn't already spayed she needed to have it all arranged before we could take her home. Obviously this added a bit of time onto the process, but the rescue were great at giving us any day / time to come over to see her for a walk and run around. Each worker I met was exceptionally friendly and very knowledgeable. The day of adoption was well organised and prior to leaving, we were able to drop off my previous dogs toys and beds for the others in the rescue. AJ, now named Mabel, has only been home a day but she's already settled down nicely in her bed and seems quite content with her new surroundings.

Cheshire dogs home were absolutely brilliant when we were looking to adopt a dog, after a difficult experience with a different national dog charity we looked more local and couldn’t have been happier. The staff were friendly, helpful and informative and helped us pick the right dog for our lifestyle as well as giving us the time to think things over and make sure we were doing the right thing for the dog. We love our little girl and couldn’t be happier - thank you! 🙂

We recently adopted “jenny” now Nellie, as she is very nosey. We were asked to meet her a few times because of Tink’s anxiety.
The care, love and attention given to these dogs by the staff is amazing, and it’s good to see the dogs trust them.
After a week, Tink is on her way to trust us too, and it’s fantastic opportunity to give her a home and unconditional love.
A big thank you and well done to all the staff.
They are the ones out walking all these dogs in the bad weather, and the time that they put into every dog, sitting in the kennels with the dogs to help them, showing them love and protection - my hat off to you all.

Good food & drinks. Extensive choice. Lovely staff. Like good pubs should be ... Full of conversation/chatter ... AND ULTRA DOG FRIENDLY (dog menu & pigs ears bagged on the bar). Great canal & country walks from & to the door 🍞🍓🍄🥩🥐🍗🌮🍲🍿🍘🥧☕🍺🥃🍽🏞🚘🚲🛶
