I can't thank Warrington Animal Welfare enough for their hard work in trapping the cat and her kittens that were discovered at the Mulberry in Stockton Heath.
I called WAW after being let down by others. They were there to help less than 24 hours after I made the call.
Julie and Ryan were phenomenal. They spent over a week trying to catch the family of cats. They didn't give up and were really patient waiting for kittens to come out of the shed (which we couldn't get into). I couldn't believe how they managed passers-by and all the involvement from the general public.
I am definitely going to become a regular donor after seeing how hard they work to ensure that animals are safe and protected.

We recently adopted an 11 week old French Bulldog "Harley" from Warrington Animal Welfare. We found the whole process brilliant!...all the staff are fantastic, helpful & supportive & we would recommend anyone looking to adopt to use them. :-))

After loosing our 13yr old German shepherd in 2013 we were devastated and heart broken. In July 2024 we began registering with local rescues as we really needed a dog back in our home. We rescued Gary our staffy X from WAW in August 2024 and now we have Arthur. Garys brother from another mother. They are already inseparable and a pair of menaces. The adoption process was thorough, professional and a quick turnaround once done. Highly recommended

Such a lovely rescue centre. The staff are all smiling and friendly. The animals are truly loved, clean and well cared for. I travel 30 miles to this rescue centre because it’s the best one I’ve ever been to. I would recommend highly to anyone looking to adopt an animal.

Myself and wife recently lost our cat looking for a rescue cat,had cats for 29 years .Found this place on line ,decided to see its location in warrington is,very hard to find in the middle of nowhere, unable to see any cats or the condition of them as its a bit like a prison. Girl on gate not very knowledgeable Said fill in form on line that was it.
Now this where problems start , form online badly organised poor irrelevant questions never the less kept looking for a cat on line here it did seem tho that some cats went and some cats didn't. Found a cat called callie applied for it on line heard nothing .
Now there's a link on site to take you to Facebook so I did some research on this cat via there Facebook page it appears this cat had been stuck in this place in a cubicle for at least 5 months + Via the comments at least 4 people had wanted to adopt this cat none had heard anything back at ALL WHY!!! (Why such a long time does cat even exist odd very ).
Thought then no chance of adopting that cat my wife would try for another filled in form gave much more detail this time about how much experience we have with cats didn't expect a reply.
Low and behold got a reply on Sunday night at 7.00pm (Odd time we thought !!!)
Now it states can't answer requests unless considered suitable so immediately thought we were suitable for this cat BUT NO it was a curt reply saying we are NOT as we're we live !!!
Unsigned from unknown person but from animal welfare.
My wife replied to email explaining that we have lived here for 29years very large front garden very large back garden backing on to fields never any issues with any cats ( it appeared that just done a Google map search and dismissed us unless live in a field roads are everywhere.)
Now this is where it gets nasty as this must have hit a nerve receive immediate response within 5mins insulting her and where we live saying housed 367 cats in wonderful locations ( so ours is not !!!!) I might add this is old info as this relates to 2023 to 2024 as on Web companies house. Person stated lives in Northwich knows our road and has personally picked up dead cats (WHY STATE THIS AND UNDER THE IMPRESSION ITS NOT THERE RESPONSIBILITY TO CARRY OUT THIS ,FIRMLY BELIEVE SCAREMONGERING)
Wife replies to email stating have you ever even been to our place NO!!!
NO CATS HAVE EVER DIED HERE
They clearly do not want any negative comments or dare question there decisions
DON'T KNOW WHATS WRONG HERE BUT STAY WELL CLEAR SOMETHING STRANGE WHY ARE CATS IN CUBICLES SO LONG AND WHY BE NASTY TO PEOPLE WHEN ALL WE ARE DOING IS TRYING TO GIVE A CAT A LOVING HOME WE ARE 68 69 ALL WE WANTED TO DO WAS LOOK AFTER A CAT
SHAME ON YOU

Visited with my son in law to pick up two kittens, they are gorgeous. In fact all the kittens and cats were gorgeous, obviously well looked after and loved by all the wonderful volunteers. Really a credit to all involved on a daily basis, just wish that I lived closer and could volunteer 👏👏👏👏

I brought in a stray cat. The staff were so understanding and kind. The cat has been rehoused in a suitable home. They kept me updated about the process and I was really reassured.
Thank you all for your help. I really appreciate it.
