Over the last year I have seen a vast improvement with GCHA. When repairs are reported they are dealt within a reasonable timeline and the work carried out is to a good standard. Staff are always polite and helpful.

Useless. When I was lodging there they were constantly on me to leave. But when it comes to disruptive residents they aren’t able to do anything.

Told a neighbour he should let a repeat thief into his House then lied about telling him that on the phone.

further to the GCHA response below - the fact and reality is GCHA refused to change water pipes their plumber fitted that did not comply with UK law ,despite the evidence they were provided. I was forced to approach Dartford council to obtain their help to resolve the issue and it was only after Dartford council involvement that the pipes were changed if I had not involved Dartford council I would still have water pipes that were a danger to my health fitted in my home as GCHA refused to change them. after leaving me for Approx. 2 years without a clean water supply , Please read further ....

Unfortunately what GCHA put into print and what they actually do are 2 opposites .GCHA left me without a clean drinking water supply for Approx 24 months and ignored my correspondence relating to this. the staff conduct relating to the issue has been shocking.

after 22 months they have now fitted flexi hose in my kitchen that does not comply with statutory water regulations ( This constitutes an offence ) despite providing GCHA correspondence that substantiates this fact GCHA are again ignoring me .

Flexi hose costs between £ 3.00 and £ 20 pounds and total cost for GCHA to replace would be Approx £ 100.

as you can see any statements from GCHA in relation to caring for tenants are completely hollow

Taking into consideration GCHA refer to their tenants as poor people ( paupers ) in their publications you would assume as they care so much they would be falling over themselves trying to resolve the issue with my water supply and water fittings .

sadly this is not the case and again the expression jumping through hoops springs to mind .....

I have now been advised today by GCHA that providing them irrefutable evidence that substantiates the pipes they have fitted do not comply with statutory water regulations is vexatious ......

GCHA well I and our neighbours have been flighting condensation four times a day were wiping down windows and still GCHA say it's our faults. No it's a structural issue with the building and they don't like to spend money . They will patch it fix it bodge job it. My self and my neighbours now have filed a report for Dartford borough council environmental health team to investigate more has black mould can create respiratory and breathing problems. GCHA don't care doe so we're all getting evidence now and taking it too ombudsman.

We may make them famous to on itv , BBC news very soon .

Very very poor management team ! And don't get me started on Steve Harriott Chair of the GCHA Board ..

GCHA what can I say on behalf of myself and most of our neighbours here that are of the same mindset-- An Absolutely dreadful experience that seems to be getting worse here. All the neighbours are in the same frame of mind about how were being treated such a shame as it seemed like a defent place to move to back in 2016. Weve been made to foot the bill for all manner of problems that a decent landlord/housing association would do. No care in the world about the residents. We had a mechanical fault with our door i was locked in the bedroom for many hours a couple of weeks ago and had to call an emergency locksmiths (we didnt break the door) its an issue that should be the responsibility of the housing maintenance people but ive been told ita down to us to pay even though we didnt fit the doors.

We've been left with mould growing on the ceilings and walls for 13 months and had several leaks as the neighbours upstairs shower has broken, and when we ask for help we constantly get fobbed off or without any follow ups.

Weve not been able to use our ensuite bathroom in this entire time yet rent keeps going up!

Were only contacted when it suits them.

Ive lost days Annual leave stayed in on these only for maintenance not to turn up which is terrible service.

I keep thinking things can only improve but after this latest kick in the teeth I dont know whether we can cope here anymore to be honest. A truly painful untrustworthy housing service I can only hope things will improve with whatlittle faith I have left here ...

I've been a tenant of GCHA since the 1980s and they used to be brilliant landlords. Unfortunately now emails and answer phone messages go unanswered and when I phone them I get the impression that I am just a nuisance to them. Such a shame.

I feel the same way that when I phone that I'm being a nuisance but it's not the case . I only want my uc new rent charge and date sent back to uc so it corresponds with mine . I get fed up with calling to be honest and they are suppose to help you not make you stressed . Sorry but that's how I'm feeling . .

shockingly bad housing association , staff are oblivious to tenants rights and do not appear to be able to do there jobs in a competent fashion , currently has the worst senior management team possibly in the organisations history .
