I had the opportunity to witness the amazing work of Midlands Langar Seva Society in front of St. Margaret's Church, down St. Margaret’s Road (LE1) and I must say, the service was truly commendable.

The fresh food distribution was systematically arranged, ensuring that everyone received their meals in an orderly manner. The volunteers demonstrated great organization and hyginic methods of distributing efficiently, making sure the process was smooth and stress-free for all attendees.

The execution of the service was excellent, with well-prepared food and a welcoming atmosphere. The team showed kindness and dedication, reflecting their commitment to supporting those in need. Their efforts ensured that everyone who attended was served with respect and care.

Overall, Midlands Langar Seva Society is providing an invaluable service to the community, and their work deserves the highest appreciation. Their generosity and well-structured approach make a real difference to many lives.

Leicester is truly lucky to have an absolutely wonderful organisation with a heart warming and humble team. MLSS Leicester continues to focus on those in need day in day out.
As a local pizza shop we have been blessed to support MLSS for nearly 10 years with freshly baked pizzas on a daily basis for their service users. MLSS has grown so much over the years that it makes us feel proud to be given this blessed opportunity to do seva and be associated with this great team.
5 stars just doesn’t do justice to a team that goes the extra mile for those unknown people in need, regardless of religion, culture, sex or social background of individual service users. It’s amazing how MLSS follow the teachings of Sikhism to support its mission in supporting all.

This place is a very heartwarming and lovely place that gives free food and drink. Which includes hot meal, tea, coffee, biscuits, fruit, crisps, samosa, mash potato and beans and more.

They do this every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I really encourage to come visit outside st Margaret’s church 5:30pm to come use this beautiful service which is run by a dedicated number of volunteers who always have a smile on their face no matter what.

These volunteers always provide this service even if there are a low amount of volunteers and no matter if it’s raining, snowing or any form of extreme weather if you come to the church 5:30pm you will get fed free of charge.

MLSS provide a vital service to the homeless and people who are less well off. This is something that is really the responsibility of the government but taking the ethos of Guru Nanak, MLSS step in and serve with no expectation of reward because it’s the right thing to do. The volunteers serve with a smile providing hot meals, food packs and sometimes clothes and other items. It’s a vital service that supports hundreds of people per week in Leicester. Keep up the amazing work, it’s inspirational!
